Ryan is a 6-0/160 athletic SS from Valdosta, GA Ryan (2006) has good actions in the field and can fly. A 6.78 runner with 4.11 speed down the line. He has a good athletic frame and moves well in the field. He shows good glove action and SS tools. He has good carry on his throws and shows good 77if arm strength. Ryan also worked out in the OF and showed outstanding 84of arm strength. He has a quick arm and good footwork. A RH hitter who can hit. He showed good bat speed and ok balance in swing. Needs to develop better lower 1/2 rotation in swing to get more power. On the mound he uses 3/4 arm slot and has a loose arm action that works well. Good command of fb & cb with some late life on fb. Smooth and simple mechanics with quick arm speed. He has a very good change up with very little effort. Likes to throw inside, does show ball to hitters very early. Cb needs to be tightend up, it sometimes is loopy. Appears athletic but "green" and should get better. Should make follow list for many top level programs. Good looking prospect. Named to Top Prospect game.
