Christopher Ferara is a 2019 1B/OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Coral Springs, FL who attends American Heritage HS. Ferara has a large frame with a thick athletic build. Defensively he showed developing footwork around the bag at 1B and showed nice hands. In the outfield he throws with a short arm action and attacks the ball well. He worked through the baseball well and showed clean transfers. At the plate, Ferara starts with an open stance and a high had set. He has a high back elbow and he showed a rotational approach at the plate. Ferara swings on a line drive plane and showed some bat speed. He made some solid line drive contact and projects for more power with more growth. Excellent student.
