Jordan Martinez is a 2017 RHP/3B with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Sinton, TX who attends Sinton HS. Large, athletic build with long, lean limbs and projects well with room to fill out with additional strength. Ran a 7.52 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, throws from an over the top arm with a short arm action in the back and a tight and compact release. Tall on back side and lands online, creates cutting action on fastball that topped at 78 mph and projects for more with use of lower half. Gets swings and misses with fastball. Flashed a short 11-5 curveball at 65 mph. Short arm action across the infield, good carry when on top of ball, shows laterally agility to both sides. Right-handed hitter and starts with a spread lower half. Swing shows length, swings hard and creates bat speed with a pull approach, shows ability to hit to all fields.
