Jake McKinnon is a 2016 SS/2B, OF, 3B, RHP with a 5-9 130 lb. frame from Edmond, OK who attends Edmond North. McKinnon has a medium build with room to fill out. Hits from a square stance. Mid field to pull approach. Short swing with good bat speed and flashed power potential. Showed an aggressive swing in games. Defensively, worked out from OF and INF, from the OF has a long arm action with good footwork and actions to ball, from the INF, has good actions and soft hands. C lean transfer and release. Also pitches, long arm action to a high 3/4 slot. Good balance point and has good control. Fastball had late arm side run and mixed in 10/4 curveball, along with a slider and change up that are developing. Outstanding Student.
