Zach Sehgal is a 2017 SS/2B/3B with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from La Jolla, CA who attends La Jolla HS. Tall and slender athletic build, lots of room to get stronger. 6.76 runner, smooth and polished infield actions, nice balanced footwork, gets on top of his throws and gets good carry, charges the ball cleanly and under control. Right handed hitter, narrow stance, active hand load with a low hand start, swing is a bit uphill, timing intensive load, projectable bat speed, hits to all fields. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Stanford.
