Onassis Matos is a 2015 C/OF with a 6-4 205 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Boone. Tall, strongly built athlete with plus speed. Ran a 6.88 60 yard dash. Highly athletic profile for a catcher. Throws well from behind the dish, gets the ball out quickly despite his height. Has the raw arm strength and receiving skills. Also showed good arm strength and actions from the outfield. Bats right-handed, has a rotational swing and generates power with his hands. Has more power to come, but already drives the ball to the middle of the field with authority. High upside player on both sides of the ball. Named to Top Prospect list.
