David Bedgood is a 2017 2B/SS, 3B, RHP with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Sherman, TX who attends Sherman HS. Large frame and slender build, room to fill as he continues to mature physically. From the infield, moves well to the baseball, solid defensive actions. At the plate, left-handed hitter that starts with a wide base, high hand set, and high back elbow. Short compact swing with very good bat speed on a line drive swing plane. Barrel gets through the zone and to the ball consistently. Lets the ball travel. Flashed some signs of opposite field power. Tough out at the plate. Outstanding student. Named to Top Prospect List.
