Tiegen Lindner is a 2016 2B/OF with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Sioux Falls, SD who attends Sioux Falls O'Gorman HS. Lean, athletic build with present strength and room to continue to fill out. Moves well on feet, ran a 6.96 60-yard dash. IQ and speed plays on bases. Primary middle infielder, quick feet with short steps to the ball, gets behind the ball well and shows well when charging in. Fields well in the outfield, compact arm action with strength, accurate throws, very quick release, will continue to increase strength with incorporation of lower half. Switch hitter, stays balanced through left-handed swing with lift and strength off the barrel. Short bat path to the ball with high finish. Shows ability to go with outside pitch. Starts with a wide base and a high hand set from right side, upper body swing with line drive contact to pull side, flashes pop to right field. Outstanding student.
