Anthony Leary is a 2017 OF with a 5-11 183 lb. frame from Davie, FL who attends Western HS. Strong athletic build with broad slopping shoulders. Present strength through out body. Hits from an open stance, shows quick hands with a smooth swing. Line drive swing plane with good bat speed. Mid field to pull. is short to ball with hands and gets extended well. Good pitch recognition, stays back on off speed well. Aggressive approach over all. Defensively, smooth arm action, good footwork through the ball with good momentum into throw, good extension at release point. Good Student.
