Joshua Lowe is a 2016 RHP/3B with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Pope HS. Broad shoulder highly athletic build, very projectable physically. Recently converted to a primary pitcher. Smooth arm action from a high 3/4's arm slot, outstanding downhill plane to his pitches, stays tall on his back side, medium effort release, stays on line and repeats his delivery with his athleticism. Fastball to 94 mph, pounds the ball of the strike zone with his fastball, good running life at times. Slider shows good spin and some sharpness, flashed a developing change up with fade and good arm speed. Very high ceiling pitcher who is going to continue to improve. Still a high level position prospect, 6.57 runner, very good defensive tools at third base including the big arm, has footwork and a quick release. Left handed hitter with a low tight hand start, inside hand path, can extend better but will flash mid field power. Exciting future on the mound. Good student, verbal commitment to Florida State. Named to the Perfect Game All-American Classic team.
