Joseph Arce is a 2015 RHP/MIF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Timber Creek HS. Nice athletic build, good strength potential. Easy calm paced delivery, full clean arm action, high 3/4's slot, stays tall during delivery, accelerates to the plate, some effort at release. Upper 80's fastball, topped out at 90 mph, mostly straight, will occasionally drop his arm slot and get under the pitch. Varies speed on a sweeping curveball, harder curveballs have tight spin and some bite, softer curveballs tend to roll. Nice feel for a change up, can throw his change more often, good arm speed and life. Around the plate with all three pitches and competes well. Good student.
