Jacob Bukauskas is a 2015 RHP with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Ashburn, VA who attends Stone Bridge HS. Medium athletic build, has some present strength with more to come. On line delivery with good pace, gathers himself over the rubber, accelerates to the plate, less effort than have seen in past, high 3/4's slot. Steady 88-90 fastball, have seen up to 93 mph in the past, gets on hitters hands quickly, mostly straight with occ arm side run. Fastball third best pitch, works slider from 77-81 with tight spin and bite, big shape at lower velocities, pounds zone with slider. Potential plus change up with big life at times. Knows how to mix and throws strikes, overmatched quality hitters here, couldn't have thrown much better for a 2015. Good student, verbal commitment to North Carolina.
