Kyle Marsh is a 2014 RHP/IF with a 6-2 177 lb. frame from Port Orange, FL who attends Spruce Creek HS. Nice athletic build, good strength with more to come. Quick paced delivery, short stride, effort release, pulls head off the plate hard, very good raw arm speed, high 3/4's extended release point. Consistent 89-90 fastball, touched 91 mph, mostly straight, big curveball depth at times, hard spin, gets on the side for a big sweeping action at times, some feel for sinking change up, around the plate with all three pitches . Third base tools defensively, athletic actions, feet are quick, very strong arm, hands and approach to ball still developing. Right handed hitter, tall stance with high hand set, long smooth swing, good swing plane, pull and lift approach, has some bat speed.. Verbal commitment to UCF.
