Jacob Rodriguez is a 2015 SS/2B with a 5-6 165 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Klein Collins HS. Strong compact physical build. 7.09 runner, second base tools and actions, plays low to the ground and quick on defense, quick feet with short strides and lateral range, quick compact release on throws. Right handed hitter, quick hands at the plate and surprising strength, loose extended swing from a good base, gets to his front side and uses his lower half well, present bat speed, squares the ball up hard and pulls it, blasted a game home run. Nice all around player with present skills. Good student.
