Jordon Austin is a 2013 OF/3B with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Ocala, FL who attends Forest HS. Strong athletic build, live bodied look. Right handed hitter, open stance, short hard swing, very sound hitting mechanics, good lower half shift, very good bat speed, good balance, hard line drives all over the field, showed ability to open up his swing and lift the ball as well, lots of offensive projection with current swing approach. 6.79 runner, has run down to 6.55 in the past, moves well to the ball in the outfield, some arm strength from an over the top release, accurate on line throws. Hitting tool was very impressive.
