Event Information
Since its inception in 1996, the Iowa Fall League has been the most scouted and most competitive spring league in the state of Iowa.  Every single high school draftee from the state of Iowa has participated in the Iowa Wood Bat League.  College coaches and pro scouts know that the best players in Iowa play in the PG league, so they follow the league very closely.

Players sign up as individuals and PG separates them into teams based upon position.  In a lot of instances, players from the same high school are placed on the same team.  Each team plays two games on Saturdays and two games on Sundays.  The league tournament is September 27-28, and will be seeded based upon the first 5 weeks of league play.  Rosters and schedule will be announced on the website August 7.  Any schedule changes and weather delays are announced on the website.  Announcements will also be made through the official league twitter handle of @SteveJamesPG.

All players who sign up for the Fall League must attend one of the pre-league workouts August 4th or August 5th.  The workout on August 4th will be at Cedar Rapids Washington HS starting at 9 AM.  The workout on August 5th will be at Ames HS field in Brookside Park starting at 9 AM.  The workout is designed as both a tryout for the remaining spots on the Iowa Select Teams as well as to determine fall league roster placement.  A more detailed schedule for those dates will be available online soon.

Games are played at various locations across Iowa.  Typically games are spread out between Cedar Rapids, Des Moines, Ames, Carroll, Iowa City, and the Waterloo/Cedar Falls area.  For any questions about the league, contact Steve James at sjames@perfectgame.org or 319.298.2923 x 121

PERFECT GAME HISTORY
The Perfect Game network began in 1993 with a vision from former scout and college coach Jerry Ford.
That vision was simple: "To give young players the best opportunity for success, to help scouts and recruiters
see and evaluate these players, and to promote the game of baseball at all levels".

Perfect Game has been hosting elite amateur events all over the country since 1997.
Talk about credibility and reputation.
