Shortstop Adam Hall (London, Ontario) has had a very impressive month of August, starting with the East Coast Professional Showcase on August 1 and continuing through these Area Code Games.  It would surprise no one if he didn't continue his high level of play at the PG All-American Classic this Sunday as well.  Hall put an exclamation point on his recent performances Tuesday afternoon with a mammoth three-run home run to left-center field, a blow that observers felt was the longest home run of what has been a homer filled event thus far.  Hall even accompanied his swing with a very respectful but very enthusiastic bat flip.  With pure shortstop defensive tools, plus running speed and a loud bat, Hall's stock is definitely on the rise.

Another young Canadian, outfielder
Cooper Davis (Mississaugua, Ontario), doesn't have Hall's physical gifts but he makes himself a center point of seemingly every game.  Tuesday, he literally impacted the game from the first pitch to the last pitch, dropping down a perfect bunt for a single on the first pitch of the Yankees-Brewers game and making a spectacular diving catch in left field on a Bryce Turang (Corona, Calif.) line drive for the final out and preserving a 4-4 tie in the bottom of the seventh.  Davis reached base a couple of other times and consistently uses his plus speed to take extra bases once on.
