351. Kobie Taylor, of, Portsmouth HS
R-R, 6-0/175, Portsmouth, N.H.
College Commitment: Vanderbilt

Taylor impressed last summer as a rare prospect from New Hampshire who showed easy plus speed on the bases and in center field and some power potential at the plate once he fills out and gets used to facing high level pitching. However, Taylor has missed almost the entire spring with a hand injury and scouts have been unable to add to their evaluations.


352. Craig Dedelow, of, Indiana (JR)

Dedelow led the Hoosier offensive attack, an attack that struggled in 2016, slashing only .257/.340/.368 as a team. Dedelow was the only regular who hit over .300, and did so with 16 doubles and five home runs, leading the team in most offensive categories. He has some untapped power remaining on his body, and his drafting team will look to get him to drive the ball more consistently out of the park to go along with his quality defensive chops in the outfield.


353. Kyle Serrano, rhp, Tennessee (JR)
R-R, 6-2/205, Knoxville, Tenn.

Serrano’s career at Tennessee hasn’t gone according to plan. As one of the premier recruits in the country, Serrano was expected to help the Volunteers make deep runs into the postseason. While he pitched solidly in both his freshman and sophomore seasons, evaluators were still left wanting more as they thought that the results and performance should have been better given the quality of stuff. After a solid summer campaign in the Cape Cod League, Serrano was expected to take the next jump of his development this spring, but that was derailed when he sustained an injury to his elbow ligament which was said to likely require Tommy John Surgery. At his best Serrano features a mid-90s fastball and solid slider. Serrano offers a team an arm with plenty of upside and talent, but the elbow injury may mean that Serrano returns to Knoxville next year to play another season with his dad, Dave Serrano, the Volunteers’ head coach. However, his talents may also allow for him to be drafted in the top five rounds for a team looking to make a high-upside pick outside of the top 2-3 rounds.


354. Caleb Baragar, lhp, Indiana (SR)
R-L, 6-3/204, Jenison, Mich.

The native Michigander was a staple for the Hoosiers pitching staff in 2016, actually winning the ERA title among the Indiana weekend starters at 2.49 (Kyle Hart had a 3.29 ERA and Evan Bell recorded a 3.36 ERA). He’s a good sized lefty with a delivery that works well, and he relies on pitchability and command rather than overpowering stuff. He can miss bats at a solid rate, mixing and matching a solid fastball with varying off-speed looks to give hitters different views. He will be a solid senior sign.


355. Chase Cheek, of, Dr. Phillips HS
L-L, 6-1/175, Orlando, Fla.
College Commitment: Duke

Cheek is one of the fastest players in the 2016 class nationally and also among the best defensive outfielders. He has 6.4 speed in the 60-yard dash and has consistently shown outstanding range in center field. Speed isn't Cheek's only defensive tool as he also has a very strong throwing arm and has thrown up to 93 mph from the outfield. Offensively, Cheek has a slashing lefthanded swing with enough bat speed to get the ball to the gaps, although he will have to get stronger for scouts to completely buy into his offensive potential at this point.
