There is no surprise at the top again this week, as Coppell (Texas) remains the No. 1 team in the nation, as they remain undefeated and show no signs of slowing down. There has been a swap at the Nos. 2 and 3 positions, as Archbishop McCarthy (Fla.) and Stoneman Douglas (Fla.) switch spots. Orange Lutheran (Calif.) vaults up to No. 4 this week, as Walton (Ga.) gets into the top five as well.

Several familiar names round out the top 10, but in shuffled spots this week. A pair of California schools find themselves in the back half of the top 10, with JSerra checking in at No. 6 and Buchanan rounding out the top 10. Barbe (La.) is at No. 7, Hamilton (Ariz.) finds themselves at No. 8 and preseason darkhorse Oxford (Miss.) continues their climb back towards the top at No. 9.

Flanagan (Fla.) is one of the biggest risers this week, moving from No. 35 to No. 35 on the strength of a victory over previous No. 2 Archbishop McCarthy. Preseason No. 1 Huntington Beach (Calif.) has seemingly hit their stride in recent weeks after a bit of a tough start, beginning with the championship at NHSI and continuing with the addition of Nick Pratto recently.

Several newcomers dot the rankings this week in various spots, with Deer Park (Texas) checking in the highest at No. 20 on the strength of an undefeated season thus far in Texas. West Orange (Fla.) debuts at No. 23, as do Mira Costa (Calif.) at No. 39 and Shawnee Mission East (Kan.) at No. 49.

As opposed to last week, it looks to be a good weather week across the midwest and northeast regions, so hopefully we'll see some separation begin to be created among schools in those regions.
