Once again, Coppell HS (Texas) is on top in our updated Top 50 High School Team Rankings, with a perfect record. They've dominated their competition on the heels of extremely talented and deep pitching, something we knew would happen leading into the season.

Right behind Coppell, however, is perennial powerhouse Archbishop McCarthy (Fla.), who owns a perfect record of their own.

Fellow Florida school Marjory Stoneman Douglas climbs all the way to No. 3 this week, followed by JSerra (Calif.) maintaining their position at No. 4. The newcomer to the top 5 is Orange Lutheran (Calif.) at No. 5.

Several newcomers find themselves ranked in various spots, with Buchanan (Calif.) debuting all the way up at No. 9 on the heels of an extremely impressive perfect start. Basha (Ariz.) debuts at No. 34, after taking down No. 6 Hamilton last week out in Arizona. Malvern Prep, a perennial northeastern power, debuts at No. 42, and Providence School out of Jacksonville squeaks into the rankings at No. 50.

Every school found on this list is now underway into their season, although the weather across the Midwest and Northeast doesn't look very conducive to gameplay this week.
