Austin Riggins is a 2015 OF/ with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Fountain Inn, SC who attends Riverside. Riggins has a medium sized frame with a lean athletic build. He has very good speed running a 6.58 in the sixty yard dash and it plays well in game. Defensively, Riggins is quick to the ball in the outfield with quick feet. He throws with a short arm action with arm strength up to 81 MPH. Riggins has solid actions and made on target throws. At the plate, he starts with an open stance with a foot lift load to start his swing. Riggins uses a hand drop load and has an arm bar swing. He generates bat speed and maintains balance through his swing well. Athletic player with upside. Named to Top Prospect Team, Penn State commit.
