How cool is it that Benny Beaver Wetzler will get the all-time career wins record (31) against the Ducks tomorrow?

No jinx, Beaver fans. I'm calling a sweep. And Benny gets game one. Stats to come....

Although I posted a 2-1 series win for the Beavers, I'm hoping you are correct DM. I think this is when Benny excels.

Some pitching stats....

Ya never know, especially in rivalry series, but I think the Ducks will need several "breaks" in a game this weekend to take one. Not saying they can't or won't get it. They have the tools, the coaches, and the players. But this OSU team is special.

Hmm. No one knows. Flip of the coin. Coming off their last series they split, and the series vs wsu, they did not perform as well as the ducks vs wsu. And Washington really was lucky to win series at home. Not buying it DM. Ducks are due.

I like how there is no trash talking by the players. Just getting ready to have a fun time. While it is serious business, it is still a game.

Corvallis locals: Can someone give us a weather outlook? My app is showing rain for the next three hours and more rain Sunday. Are we gonna see a double-header Saturday? Anyone hear anything?

Bases loaded no outs, and we only get one. That might come back to haunt us. But at least we touched up Thorpe and got him to throw 20-plus pitches.

Game is frustrating, Payne is playing like dogshit, and I can't get over the fact they didn't walk Conforto with 1st base open on his second double.

Caleb Hamilton's first homer as a Beaver was a BOMB! Full count pitch over the second fence in left. Dam!

Pressure for the bullpen to come through for Wetzler, let alone getting this crucial first game. Ducks waited too long, and I am surprised that this game did not get away too bad. For a few moments I thought it was going to be a 10-0 blowout.
