He has a very live arm that produces hard armside run, while also featuring a hard sweeping curveball. His pitchability is advanced for his age, as he is good at changing speeds and can locate to both sides of the plate. He is verbally committed to Central Florida .
George (Buck) Farmer

Buck might go down as one of the hardest throwers in the 2009 class with a fastball that already gets in the low 90’s. Physically, Buck is very imposing on the mound where he stands at 6’4”, 220 lbs. and he features a tight 11 to 5 curveball. His arm works well and look for him to attract quite a lot of draft attention this coming spring. He is verbally committed to Georgia Tech.
Brooks Hall

After a very impressive showing in Marietta , Brooks has cemented himself as one of the top pitching prospects in the country. At 6’5”, Brooks projects very well on the mound with a fastball that reached 92 and a hard sweeping slider. A good all-around athlete, Brooks posted a 6.94 sixty and has the tools to be a highest-level college prospect as an infielder as well.
Miles Head

The bat really sticks out for Miles who has the tools to project for at least average MLB hitting ability and power potential down the road. Miles doesn’t have a clear position yet, but be looks to have the tools to become a very solid catcher down the line with a strong arm and quick release. He is verbally committed to Georgia.
Patrick Merkling

A very projectable left-hander, Patrick is a player that could jump up the rankings in the next year. He has a loose easy arm action that works well and flashes a tight 1-7 curveball. Patrick has verbally committed to Auburn, but expect MLB scouts to follow him this spring.
Jake Montgomery

A polished RHP, Jake features a fastball that gets into the low 90’s and a good all-around feel for pitching. Jake does a good job of locating his pitches and has shown two quality off-speed pitches in the past. He is verbally committed to Georgia.

With 6.62 sixty speed and good hitting tools to work with, Derrick has what you look for in an outfield prospect. Derrick shows good bat speed, while staying very short to the ball and should attract plenty of attention from MLB Scouts this spring.

Of the many top arms at the showcase, Preston arguably featured the most live arm with a fastball that touched 90 with heavy armside run. With continued improvement of his off-speed pitches, Preston is a prospect that could make a lot of noise in the next year.
Brandon Thomas

Speed is the key element to Brandon ’s game where he posted a 6.68 sixty. At the plate, Brandon has quick hands and shows gap to gap pop. Brandon has verbally committed to Kentucky , but could also garner the attention of MLB Scouts this coming spring.

A tall projectable right-hander Hudson pounded the strike zone with a fastball that reached 88 with a good downhill action. Hudson flashes a tight slider and his velocity projects well for the future. He has verbally committed to Florida.
Drew Cox

Drew isn’t going to intimidate many people when he steps on the mound standing at 5’9”, but that all changes when he releases the ball. Drew has a very quick arm and ran his fastball up to 89 while also showing a tight slider. His arm works well and he should be an immediate contributor as a highest-level college prospect.
Lex Rutledge

With a fastball that reached 88 and a tight 1-7 curveball, Lex has what you look for in a left-handed pitching prospect. He is a good all-around athlete, running a 7.12 sixty while also throwing 93 from the outfield.
Arthur Strauss

A highest-level two-way prospect, Arthur shows big potential on the mound and in the outfield. On the mound Arthur featured a fastball that touched 87 with a good feel for a 10-4 curveball. Defensively Arthur looks like the part of a rightfielder where he showed decent speed (7.18) with big raw arm strength. (91) Arthur has good bat speed at the plate showing gap to gap pop and will be a highest-level college prospect.
Trey Griffin

A 2010 graduate, Trey has serious five-tool potential and all the tools you look for in an outfield prospect. Trey showed top-level speed running with a 6.68 sixty, while also showing the hitting tools to potentially show above average hitting and power down the road. Come 2010 Trey has all the making of a potential early round-draft pick.
Chevez Clarke

A 2010 prospect, Chevez has the potential to become one of the top five-tool outfield prospects in the country. Defensively, he looks the part of a centerfielder with elite speed (6.58) and very good raw arm strength. (91) Offensively, Chevez is a switch-hitter with very good hitting tools from both sides of the plate and he has the potential to be an early-round pick in 2010.

A 2010 prospect, Ralston looks the part of one of the top pitching prospects in his class. Ralston features three potential plus pitches down the line including a fastball that touched 88 at the event, but has been higher in the past. He has great life on his fastball and also shows a tight slider and good straight change-up.
