2010 Top Prospects

Konner Wade  RHP - 2010 - Scottsdale, AZ
Arizona

The most polished pitcher at the event, Konner touched 88 with a loose and easy delivery that produces good armside run. He has a good feel for pitching and his velocity projects well for the future.

Johnny Fasola  3B - 2010 - Hudson, OH
Kansas State

An intriguing two-way prospect, Johnny has the chance to be a highest-level prospect at third base or on the mound. He shows good bat speed at the plate and the ball really jumps off the bat. Defensively, Johnny has the arm strength (85) and the speed (7.17) needed to make a solid defender. Johnny shows a very live fastball that touched 87 and overmatched hitters.

Sean O'Connor  RHP - 2010 - Southlake, TX
Dallas Baptist

At 6’4”, 200 lbs., Sean has an ideal build for a pitcher and showed a fastball that topped at 88. His arm works well and he has heavy running and sinking action to his fastball. As Sean develops his off-speed pitches more, look for him to become a highest-level pitching prospect.

Jake Cole  RHP - 2010 - Tucson, AZ
North Carolina

A highest-level two way prospect, Jake shows big upside on the mound and at the plate. He has good pitchability and shows command of a fastball that touched 87 and a hard and tight slider. At the plate Jake has big raw potential and the ball really jumps off his bat.

Jon Wilson  C - 2010 - San Diego, CA

A very athletic catcher with 6.99 sixty speed, Jon has the tools to become one of the top catching prospects in his class. He has a simple hitting approach with good bat speed and shows big raw power to all fields. Behind the plate Jon has a very strong arm (80) and good raw tools to work with.

Taylor Erwin  RHP - 2010 - Surprise, AZ

An athletic right-hander, Taylor touched 86 with his fastball and projects to add more velocity in the future. Taylor has a clean delivery that he repeats well and good feel for a 12 to 6 curveball.

Dillon Everett  MIF - 2010 - Scottsdale, AZ

Dillon showed some of the best hitting tools at the event, with a smooth and balanced swing from the left side that produces good pop to all fields. He is a gamer that really swung it well during the games and also showed 7.02 sixty speed


2011 Top Prospects

Luke Riley  3B - 2011 - Fresno, CA

A 2011 prospect, Luke shows highest-level tools at a third baseman with good speed (6.92) and a strong arm. (87) Luke produces good bat speed at the plate and the ball really jumps on contact. Luke was also up to 85 on the mound with a tight slider.

Ryan Wood  RHP - 2011 - Eagle, ID
North Dakota

A 2011 prospect, Ryan shows good upside on the mound with a fastball that touched 85. His arm works well and he also the making of a tight 11 to 5 curveball.


2012 Top Prospects

Chase DeJong  RHP - 2012 - Long Beach, CA
Southern California

A 2012 two-way prospect, Chase would easily have been the most projectable player at the event. Everything works well for Chase on the mound whose fastball topped at 84 currently, but could potential turn in to 90-plus fastball down the road. At the plate, Chase has a smooth swing from the left side, where he stays inside the ball well with good bat speed.
