Dirtbags racked up 10 hits in their 8-2 win over Jacksonville Warriors Orange. Healey led the attack with two doubles.  Howard tripled in two runs while Bennett went 1 for 3 with two RBI's. McLamb started and threw five innings. He struck out five and allowed just one hit.

Korbin Kirton (2018, Sandalwood, FL) led the Warriors with a tripled that plated a run.

Murphy leads his team to a win

JP Murphy (2018, Calvert Hall, MD) led the USA Elite Baseball 2018's National to a 4-1 win over Hardknox Baseball.  He had two hits including a triple and came around to score twice.  Justin Williams (2018, Cumberland Valley, PA) pitched in by singling in two runs while Cullan Wadsworth (2018, Parkland, PA) went 2 for 3.  Will Manley (2018, Lower Dauphin, PA) started and lasted 2 2/3 innings. He struck out one and allowed two hits. His mid 70's heater touched 78 mph.

Brody Couch (2018, Union Grove, GA) threw four innings for Hardknox.  He struck out one and allowed three hits.

Pitching dominates in Athletics' 3-0 win

Pitching dominated in the Texas Athletics' 3-0 win over the Central Florida Red Raiders Saturday night. The teams combined for just five hits.

RHP Albert Gonzalez (2018, Laredo, TX) started and pitched 5.0 innings for Texas, striking out nine and allowing just one hit. His fastball worked in the 72-80 mph range. At the plate, Gonzalez went 1-for-3 with a double and two steals. RHP Andres Santos III (2018, Laredo, TX) tossed 2.0 no-hit innings in relief, working up to 74 mph. 

For Central Florida, RHP Caden Reeves (2019, Longwood, FL) pitched all 6.0 innings, throwing 31 of 47 pitches for strikes (66 percent) and working his fastball up to 79 mph.

2018 RHP K's 10 in Chain's 3-1 win

SS/RHP Cory Bivins (2018, Haddock, GA) tossed a complete game one-hitter with 10 strikeouts in Chain Red's 3-1 win over Diamond Skills Dodgers (2018 Grads) Saturday night. Bivins displayed sound mechanics and hid the ball well, firing strikes at 71-75 mph with a curve in the low-60s.

Tee Adams (2018, Byron, GA) led Chain with two hits, a double and two stolen bases. For the Dodgers, Zach Tsakounis (2018, Arlington, VA) and DJ Brown (2018, Crownsville, MD) also recorded two hits each. 

RHP John Shelburne (2018, Mechanicsville, VA) struck out six in 5.0 innings for the Dodgers, working at 70-74 mph with a low-60s curve. Teammate RHP/C Brandon Cook (2018, Glen Burnie, MD) fanned three in 2.0 hitless innings. He displayed good hip rotation and an overtop arm angle, firing strikes at 74-78 mph.

USA Elite cruises to 8-2 win

USA Elite Baseball 2018's National hung a crooked number in three different innings to beat Chain Gold 8-2 Saturday night. JP Murphy (2018, Reisterstown, MD) and Justin Williams (2018, Mechanicsburg, PA) recorded two hits each for USA. Murphy also doubled and drove in one, while displaying a quick bat with gap power; Williams tripled and drove in two. 

RHP John Barber (2018, Holland, PA) and  RHP William Carney (2018, Villa Rica, GA) combined on a two-hitter for USA. Barber struck out six in 3.0 innings, throwing 33 of 43 pitches for strikes (77 percent). He worked in the 74-77 mph range with a 12/6 curve in the mid-60s. Carney fanned four in 4.0 no-hit innings, firing strikes at 69-73 mph.

RHP Ahmad Ali (2018, Fayetteville, GA) started and pitched 3.1 innings for Chain, striking out four. He fired strikes at 71-76 mph, peaking at 78 with armside run. He also flashed a low-60s curve.

5-run 1st keys Oxford's 10-2 win

Keyed by a five-run 1st inning the Oxford Swarm beat Team North Carolina-DeMarini 10-2 Saturday night. Oxford's offensive display was fueled by Griffin Carroll (2018, Alexandria, AL), who went 2-for-3 with a triple, a run scored and three RBI. 

Bryceson Hernandez (2018, Cary, NC) led North Carolina with two hits.

RHP James Parker (2018, Maylene, AL) started and pitched 4.0 innings for Oxford, striking out eight, while working in the 74-77 mph range. Teammate RHP Nolan Crisp (2019, McDonough, GA) fanned four in 2.0 innings of relief, firing strikes at 79-83 mph.

So Cal NTT scored two runs in the 6th inning to secure a 5-3 win over Chain Black Saturday night. Tyler Guadagno (2018, Monroe, NY) led all players with two hits, including a double. So Cal teammates Delvan Gomez (2018, Artesia, CA) and Aidan Smith (2019, Falmouth, NE) each recorded two RBI.

For Chain, LHP Cameron Gray (2018, Cottondale, FL) struck out five in 4.0 innings. He worked in the 71-77 mph range, peaking at 78. Gray also flashed a low-70s curve.

Dodgers Take Out STARS 5-2

The Diamond Skills Dodgers (2018) Grads took down the STARS (Marucci) 5-2 after taking advantage of five fielding errors from the STARS defense. The Dodgers knocked in four hits from three different players with Jacob Steinberg (2018 OF, Germantown, MD) leading the way offensively. Steinberg finished 2-3 at the plate and crossed home twice with a stolen base. 

Sammy Senders (2018 OF, Potomac, MD) took home the win for the Dodgers after tossing the first five innings of the game from the mound. Senders threw 61 pitches and allowed one hit and no runs while walking two and striking out five with a fastball averaging 74 mph and topping out at 81 mph. 

Warriors Advance With 8-0 Shutout

The Jacksonville Warriors Easton jumped out to an early two-run lead after the first inning and iced the game with four runs in the bottom of the fifth inning as they shut out the So Cal NTT 8-0 in five innings. The Warriors offense knocked in eight hits from seven different players and was able to take advantage of four NTT fielding errors. Rickey Hartless (2018 C, Jacksonville, FL) led the Warriors with a 2-3 game at the plate, picking up three RBIs, a run scored, a triple and a stolen base with Nathan Hickey (2019 C, Jacksonville, FL) adding in three RBIs of his own. 

Jared Cox (2018 1B, Jacksonville, FL) took home the win for the Warriors after tossing the full game from the mound. Cox threw 62 pitches in his five innings of work and allowed two hits and no runs while walking four and striking out one with a fastball averaging 71 mph and topping out at 74 mph. 

Miner League Take Down Stars 6-2

The Miner League National jumped out to an early lead with a run in the first inning and iced the game with four runs in the sixth to advance to the semifinals with a 6-2 win. The National offense knocked in six hits from all different players with AJ King (2018 3B, Cincinnati, OH) leading the way offensively. King finished with a 1-3 game at the plate with an RBI, two runs scored, was hit by a pitch and knocked his hit for the National's only multi-base hit with a triple. 

Ryan Jemar (2018 3B, Bourbonnais, IL) took home the win for the National bullpen after closing out the final four innings on the mound, allowing two hits and one earned run while walking one and striking out five. Jemar showed good command all around the plate with all his pitches, effectively throwing inside with a three-pitch rotation featuring a fastball averaging 75 mph and topping out at 77 mph. 

Miner League defeats SBO

Miner League National defeated SBO Puerto Rico 7-2 to even their record at 1-1 in the tournament.  Brooks Coetzee (2018, Mahomet-Seymour HS, IL) led the way for the Miner's offense showing a sound hitting approach and gap power as he went 2-4 with 1 triple, 3 runs scored, 1 RBI and 1 stolen base.  Louisville commit, Timmy Borden (2018, Our Lady of Providence HS, IN), added in a 2-4 performance showing good bat speed and raw power with 1 triple, 1 run scored and 1 stolen base.  Drew Golde (2018, Lake Forest HS, IL) also impressed going 2-2 with 1 double, 1 run scored, 1 stolen base and 1 walk.  

Ben Metzinger (2018, Trinity HS, KY) earned the win for the Miners tossing 3 2/3 shutout innings allowing just 2 hits and 1 walk, while striking out 2 batters.  Metzinger showed a deceptive delivery and a solid arm action with his 67-75/76 mph fastball and mixed in a 64-66 mph curveball.  

For SBO. Angel G. Diaz (2018, Puerto Rico Baseball Academy HS, PR) used a sound hitting approach and a short, compact swing going 2-3 with 1 double and 1 run scored.  

Tri-State rallies past Nelson Baseball

The Tri-State Arsenal 2018 Showcase 2 defeated the Nelson Baseball School 15U Red 8-6 to improve to 2-0 in the tournament.  Leadoff man, Isiah Payton (2018, The Episcopal Academy HS, PA), led the way for the Tri-State offense showing  a short, compact swing as he went 2-4 with 1 double, 1 run scored and 1 RBI.  Jake Perkins (2018, Cinnaminson HS, NJ) added in a 1-2 performance with 1 triple, 2 runs scored, 1 RBI, 1 stolen base and 1 walk.  Tyler Shockley (2018, James M. Bennett HS, MD) also impressed using a gap to gap approach going 1-2 with 1 double and 3 RBI.  

Luke Wootten (2018, Middletown HS, DE) earned the win for Tri-State tossing 1 2/3 innings allowing just 1 unearned run on 2 hits and no walks, while recording 1 strikeout.  Wooten showed a quick arm and a good follow through on the mound and featured a 73-76 mph fastball.  

For the Nelson Baseball School, Jackson Sisk (2018, Etowah HS, GA) showed a live bat and lift in his swing going 1-4 with 1 double and 1 run scored, and Nick Torres (2018, Etowah HS, GA) went 2-3 with 3 RBI.  

Howard helps Dirtbags win over Cyclones

The Dirtbags defeated the Chattanooga Cyclones 8-2 in their game on Saturday morning.  Howard led the way for the Dirtbags' offense going 2-2 with 1 double, 2 runs scored and 1 stolen base.  McKeithan  added in a 1-3 performance with 1 double and 1 run scored.  Haney also impressed going 1-3 with 1 double, 1 run scored, 1 RBI and 1 walk.  

Mayo started and earned the win for the Dirtbags going 3 1/3 innings allowing just 1 run on 3 hits and 1 walk, while striking out 3 batters.  Mayo featured a 69-73 mph fastball and mixed in a 65-69 mph curveball.  

For the Cyclones, Jonathan Hickman (2018, Heritage HS, GA) went 1-3 with 1 run scored, 1 stolen base and 1 walk.  

Gators and SBO end in tie

East Cobb Gators and SBO Puerto Rico ended their consolation game in a 10-10 tie.

2018 Nate Marletta (Sprayberry, GA) went 2-3 with 3 RBI's and a double for the Gators and 2018 Joe Schendl (Blessed Trinity Catholic, GA) went 1-2 with a RBI. 2018 Dylan Born (North Paulding, GA) added a RBI and 2018 Devon Born (North Paulding, GA) went 1-4 with 2 RBI's.

For SBO, 2018 Rubio Rodriguez (Puerto Rico Baseball Academy, PR) went 1-2 with a RBI and 2018 Adrian Ortiz (Caguas Military Academy, PR) went 2-3 with a RBI. 2018 Kevin Datil (Caguas Military Academy, PR) went 1-1 with a RBI and 2018 Eduardo Rosario (Puerto Rico Baseball Academy, PR) added a RBI as well.

The Dugout Stars defeated the East Cobb Gators 11-4 in their game on Saturday morning.  Joseph Janick (2018, Bishop Shananan HS, PA) led the way for the Stars' offense going 1-4 with 1 double and 3 RBI.  Nick Oday (2018, Bishop Shananan HS, PA) added in a 1-1 day showing excellent bat speed with 1 triple, 3 runs scored and 2 walks.  Brendan Reilly (2019, Coatesville Area HS, PA) also impressed going 1-3 with 1 triple and 1 RBI, while George Rainer (2018, Port Jefferson HS, NY) went 2-2 with 1 run scored, 1 RBI and 1 walk.  David Judge (2018, Troy HS, NY) contributed a 2-3 day with 1 run scored and 2 stolen bases at the plate.  

PJ Heintz (2017, PA) started and earned the win for the Stars tossing 3 strong innings allowing just 1 unearned run on 2 hits and no walks, while striking out 6 batters.  Heintz showed a loose arm action to go with a smooth, online delivery as threw a 74-79/81 mph fastball that had good life.  

For the Gators, Travis White (2018, Kell HS, GA) went 1-2 with 2 runs scored and 1 stolen base.

Bryce Register (2018, Port St Joe, FL) led Panhandle Scorpions 2018 to a 6-3 win over Chattanooga Cyclones. He had two hits including a double and two RBI's.  Rece Hinds (2019, Niceville Senior, FL) pitched in with two singles. Joshua Tease (2018, North Florida Christian, FL) started and threw 3 2/3 innings. He struck out four while allowing five hits. Jaxon Ridley (2018, Liberty Country, FL) came in next. In 1 2/3 inning, he fanned two and gave up two hits. Carson Dykes (2018, Lincoln, FL) struck out the last two outs. 

Carson Sherrill (2018, Heritage, GA) led the Cyclones with a single that plated a run. 

Texas Athletics blowout Team Elite Slugger

The Texas Athletics grabbed the blowout victory, defeating Team Elite Louisville Slugger, 10-2.

Andres Santos III (2018, John B. Alexander HS, TX) led the way for the Athletics, going 2-3 with a double, single, one run scored, and three RBIs.  Leadoff hitter Fernando Benavides (2018, Laredo United HS, TX) contributed by going 2-3 as well, with a homerun, single, three runs scored and three RBIs.  Ozbeth Marcelo Perez (2018, John B. Alexander HS, TX) went 1-3 with a triple, two runs scored, and one RBI.

Perez pitched three complete innings of work, giving up one earned run on one hit, and struck out six, while giving up three walks in the game.  He had a good, smooth delivery to the plate, and had a fastball that averaged 78-80/81 mph, and mixed in a handful of curveballs, sliders, and a changeup for his off-speed pitches.

For the Team Elite Louisville, Jack Gobble (2018, Fannin County HS, GA) went 1-2 with a single and one run scored, and Ryan Cobbett (2018, West Forsyth HS, GA) went 1-1 with a single and one RBI.

A couple big innings helped Tri-State Arsenal 2018 Showcase 2 beat Chain Gold 7-6.  Jake Perkins (2018, Cinnaminson, NJ) led the offense with a single and three RBI's.  Adam Grintz (2019, Downingtown West, PA) pitched in with two singles while Eric Grintz (2019, Downingtown West, PA) went 2 for 3 with a double and two RBI's. Grintz started and threw the first inning. He struck out two but walked one.  Matt Orlando (2019, Marlton, NJ) came in next. In three innings, he gave up one hit and fanned two.

Connor Martin (2018, Houston County, GA) pitched for the Chain.  In six innings, he struck out three and walked three.  Martin also led the offense with two singles.

Nelson Baseball School 15U Blue defeated SLAM Fall Select 2018 in a high-scoring affair, 10-8.

Aaron Hayes (2018, Woodstock HS, GA) led the way for Nelson Baseball, going 3-4 at the plate, with three singles, one run scored, and three RBIs recorded in the game.  Darius Jones (2018, Mceachern HS, GA) finished 1-2, with a single, one run scored, and one RBI.  Zach Camp (2018, Walker HS, GA) went 1-2 with a single and one run scored, and Landon Douthit (2018, Woodstock HS, GA) went 1-1 with a single, one run scored, and one RBI.

For SLAM, Sonny Dichiara (2018, Hoover HS, AL) sparked the offense, finishing 3-4 at the plate, with a double, triple, single, two runs scored and one RBI.  Chris Dugas (2018, Vestavia Hills HS, AL) went 2-4, with a double, single, one run scored, and three RBIs.  Wade Lofton (2018, Cheraw HS, SC) finished 2-4 with two singles and two runs scored, and Wilson Enslen (2018, Vestavia Hills HS, AL) went 1-3, with a single and two RBIs on the day.

Team Elite Prime cruised to the easy 12-4 victory, defeating Team North Carolina-DeMarini in convincing fashion.

Ethan Hankins (2018, Forsyth Central HS, GA) and Garret Suiter (2018, Lee County HS, GA) each led the way for Team Elite Prime, going 2-3 a piece at the plate.  Hankins finished with two singles, one run scored, and two RBIs, and Suiter had two singles, one run and one RBI.  Joseph Brandon (2018, Loganville HS, GA) also went 2-3 with two singles, one run, and one RBI as well.  McKinley Chadwick (2018, Gilmer HS, GA) finished 1-2 with a double, and two RBIs, and Ashton Shepherd (2018, Peachtree Ridge HS, GA) and Hunter Cain (2018, Archer HS, GA) each had a double as well in the game.

For Team North Carolina, Davis Palermo (2018, Northwood HS, NC) went 1-2 at the plate, with a single and one RBI, and Colin Liebe (2019, Chapel Hill, NC) finished 1-1 on the day, with a single and one run scored.

Chain Black defeated the Oxford Swarm, 9-4.

Tyler Weeks (2018, Cook County HS, GA) led the way for Chain Black, going 2-3 with a double, single, one run scored, and two RBIs in the contest.  Leadoff hitter Cameron Gray (2018, Marianna HS, GA) went a perfect 3-3 with three singles, and one RBI.  Beau Waiters (2018, East Ridge HS, GA) went 2-3 as well, with two singles, and two runs scored.  Melvin Crawford (2018, Mundy's Mill HS, GA) also contributed with a double, and finished 1-3 with one run scored as well.

For the Swarm, Cayden Sparks (2018, Oxford HS, AL) went 2-3 with two singles, and two RBIs.  Nolan Crisp (2019, Union Grove HS, GA) contributed to the offense with a single and finished 1-3 on the day.


Tri-State Arsenal become Champs

Tri-State Arsenal 2018 Showcase 1 are the Champions of the 2014 WWBA Freshman World Championship Tournament after shutting out Jacksonville Warriors Easton 9-0. They got off to a 4-0 start in the bottom of the 1st inning and things took off for Arsenal from there.

2018 Justin Meyer (The Haverford School, PA) went 1-3 with a RBI and a triple for Arsenal and 2018 Raul Ortega (St. Joseph Regional, NJ) went 2-2 with a RBI. 2018 Brandon Neeck (Iona Prep, NY) went 3-3 with 2 RBI's, 2018 Henry Davis (Fox Lane, NY) went 1-3 with 2 RBI's and 2018 Jack Ryan (Briarcliff, NY) added a RBI. 2018 Nicholas Natale (Eastern, NJ) added a RBI as well.

2018 Charles Mack (Williamville East, NJ) pitched all 5 innings for Arsenal, allowing no runs off of 5 hits and peaking his fastball at an impressive 82mph. 



CTN Prodigy wins consolation game

CTN Prodigy 2K18 defeated Chain Red 2-0 in tonight's consolation game.

2018 Cameron Fitzgerald (Daniel Hand, CT) went 1-2 with a double for the Prodigy and 2018 Justin Jordan (Darien, CT) wemt 1-2 with a RBI. 2018 Ian Blatchford (Fairfield College Prep, CT) added a RBI as well.

2018 Kyle Schaeffer (Daniel Hand, CT) pitched a complete game for the Prodigy, allowing 2 hits and no runs with 5 strikeouts. His fastball peaked at 78mph.


Scorpions win big over Hardknox Baseball

Panhandle Scorpions 2018 defeated Hardknox Baseball 7-1 this evening.

2019 Josiah Miller (Lincoln, FL) went 1-3 with a triple for the Scorpions and 2018 Joshua Tease (North Florida Christian, FL) went 2-3 with 3 RBI's. 2018 Connor Strickland (Bainbridge, GA) went 1-3 with a RBI and 2018 Carson Dykes (Lincoln, FL) went 1-3 with a RBI as well.

2018 Bryce Register (Port St. Joe, FL) pitched 2 innings for the Scorpions, allowing just 1 hit and no runs with 3 strikeouts. 

Copperheads Outhit Find the 2-1 Win

The CBA Copperheads Elite defeated the Dirtbags 2-1 in seven innings.

For the Copperheads, Caleb Johnson (2019, Columbus, GA) knocked a RBI single in the game. Colby Brabston (2019, Columbus, GA) added a double to help his team.

Bryce Valero (2019, Columbus, GA) pitched the complete game for his team without an earned run off six hits. He walked one and struck out four on his 70 mph fastball.

For the Dirtbags, Healey connected for the only extra base hit for his team and scoring the only run. Five other teammates each knocked a single to help. 

Benton pitched effectively for his team with 3.1 innings. He allowed one run and one hit. He walked three and struck out three. He ran the gun up to 73 mph.

Three Run Second Enough for Mizuno

The Mizuno Baseball USA defeated the Nelson Baseball School 15U Red 5-3 in seven innings.

For Mizuno Baseball, Matthew Santos (2019, Houston, TX) led the team with a RBI single and a run scored. John Sebok (2018, Manvel, TX), Noah Fiehn (2018, Clinton Township, MI), and Cass Phillips (2018, Highland, MI) each contributed a double for their team.

Fiehn pitched most of the game with 5.1 innings. He allowed two earned runs off eight hits. He walked one and struck out one on his 75 mph fastball. 

For NBS, Nick Torres (2018, Woodstock, GA) led the team with a pair of base knocks with a RBI and a run. Niko Cho (2018, Woodstock, GA) added a RBI double, and Weston Campbell (2018, Woodstock, GA) connected with a double to help.

Connor Frost (2018, Marietta, GA) went two innings with one run and three hits. He did not walk a batter and struck out three on his 70 mph fastball.

The Jacksonville Warriors Easton defeated the Diamond Skills Dodgers (2018 Grads) 9-1 in five innings.

For the Warriors, Isaiah Byars (2018, Orange Park, FL) led the team with a pair of singles and RBIs. Rickey Hartless (2018, Jacksonville, FL) added two singles as well with a RBI and a run. Nick Niewulis (2018, Jacksonville, FL) roped a two RBI double and later scored. Max Ferguson (2018, Atlantic Beach, FL) helped with a RBI single and a run.

Byars pitched the complete game with only one run and two hits. He walked one and struck out three on his 82 mph fastball. 

For the Dodgers, Brandon Cook (2018, Glen Burnie, MD) knocked a triple and scored the only run on the game. Reese Varley (2018, Haymarket, VA) added the final hit with a single.

For the Arsenal, Bryce Cunningham (2018, Chalfont, PA) led the way with the walk off double in the game. He finished 2-4. Brandon Neeck (2018, Chappaqua, NY) added a RBI triple and scored twice. Justin Meyer (2018, Villanoca, PA) roped a pair of singles in the game.

Nicholas Natale (2018, Berlin, NJ) pitched most of the game with 5.1 innings. He allowed four runs on seven hits with two walk and two strikeouts. He ran the gun up to 78 mph.

For Miner League, Rick Mitchell (2018, Ellabell, GA) and AJ King (2018, Cincinnati, OH) led the team with each knocking a triple and a single while plating a RBI and scoring once. Brooks Coetzee (2018, Mahomet, IL) added a pair of singles and a run, and Keegan Fish (2018, Liberty Township, OH) connected with a double.

Team Rocky Top was able to get early run production, and held off CTN Prodigy 2K18, 7-6.

Trey Ogelsby (2018, Carter HS, TN) and Thomas Saliba (2018, Webb School of Knoxville, TN) each provided spark on the offensive end, with a triple a piece I nthe game.  Ogelsby finished 2-2 at the plate, with a single and three RBIs, and Saliba went 1-3 with one run scored as well.  Leadoff hitter Stokes Needham (2018, Webb School of Knoxville, TN) went 1-4 with a single and one run scored as well.

Minor League National cruised to the 8-2 victory, defeating the Tri-State Arsenal 2018 Showcase 2.

Rick Mitchell (018, Richmond Hill HS, GA) led the way, going a perfect 2-2 at the plate, with two singles, three runs scored, and two RBIs, along with two stolen bases in the game.  Ben Metzinger (2018, Trinity HS, KY) and Trey Fesperman (2018, Benedictine Military, GA) each went 1-2 on the day, with a single and two RBIs a piece.  Metzinger also recorded two stolen bases.  Brooks Coetzee (2018, Mahomet-Seymour HS, IL) contributed by going 1-3 with a single and two runs scored.

Gabe Bierman (2018, Jeffersonville HS, IN) pitched 6.1 innings, giving up one earned run on two hits, and struck out nine in the game.  He showed good command on both sides of the plate, and had a good mound presence.  He had a fastball that peaked at 82 mph, and mixed in a handful of good curveballs for his off-speed pitch.

For Tri-State, Tyler Shockley (2018, James M. Bennett HS, MD) went 1-2 with a triple and one RBI, and Luke Wootten (2018, Middletown HS, DE) went 1-2 with a single on the day.


Pitching Leads Warriors to close win

The Jacksonville Warriors Easton grabbed the one run victory, as Jack Harris (2018, Stanton College Prep, FL) carried the team on the mound, defeating the Texas Athletics, 1-0.

Harris pitched six complete innings of work, giving up no runs, just two hits, and struck out two, while allowing four walks in the game.  He had a fastball that averaged 73-79/79 mph, and mixed in a couple of curveballs for his off-speed pitches.

At the plate for the Warriors, Isaiah Byars (2018, Oakleaf HS, FL) led the way, going 1-3 with a single and one run scored, and Nathan Hickey (2019, Providence HS, FL) went 1-3 as well, with a single and one RBI.


Mizuno Baseball defeat Team Elite 7-3

Mizuno Baseball USA defeated Team Elite Prime, 7-3, thanks to some late production, as Mizuno scored six runs in the last three innings to take the lead and on to the win.

Leadoff hitter Treet Williams (2018, Homeschool, TX) led the way, going a perfect 2-2 at the plate, with a single, double, and one run scored.  Mark Klein (2018, Stratford HS, TX) finished 1-2, with a single, one run scored and two RBIs.  Noah Feihn (2018, Lutheran HS North, TX) went 1-3 in the game, with a single, and two runs scored.

On the mound, Izayah Quezada (2018, North Shore HS, TX) pitched four complete innings of work, giving up two earned runs on six hits, and recorded four strikeouts.

For Team Elite, Garret Suiter (2018, Lee County HS, GA) went 2-4 with a double, single, and two RBIs.  Bradley Prince, Jr. (2018, South Forsyth HS, GA) and Ashton Sheperd (2018, Peachtree Ridge HS, GA) each finished 2-4 in the game, with two singles a piece.  Prince also had one run scored on the day.


Dodgers Shutout Swarm

The Diamond Skills Dodgers (2018 Grads) defeated the Oxford Swarm 2-0 in seven innings.

For the Dodgers, Jacob Steinberg (2018, Germantown, MD) led the team with two singles with a RBI and a run scored. Zach Tsakounis (2018, Arlington, VA) added a RBI single, and Michael Campbell (2018, Walkersville, MD) roped a double and a single and later scored.

Tsakounis pitched most of the game with four innings. He did not allow a run or walk while allow one hit and striking out three. He ran the gun up to 75 mph. Steinberg finished the game with the last three innings. He allowed two runs with two walks on five strike outs on his 84 mph fastball.

For the Swarm, Griffin Carroll (2018, Alexandria, AL), Nolan Crisp (2019, McDonough, GA), and Ethan Whitley (2018, Oxford, AL) each knocked the only hits with one single each.

Jacob Smith (2018, Calera, AL) pitched the complete game with only one earned run off seven hits. He walked just one and struck out six. He maxed out the gun at 79 mph.

Early Lead Not Enough For Chain Red

Team North Carolina-DeMarini defeated the Chain Red 6-2 in seven innings. 

For Team North Carolina, Caleb Cozart (2019, High Point, NC) led the team with a double and a single with three RBIs. Bryceson Hernandez (2018, Cary, NC) helped out with a RBI single and later scored, and Jeb Byerley (2018, Chapel Hill, NC) and Justin Wernoski (2018, Durham, NC) each connected with a double and a run.

Brad Rice (2018, Chapel Hill, NC) pitched most of the game with 4.1 innings. He allowed two unearned runs off just one hit. He walked two and struck out three while touching 72 mph. Cozart shut down the rest of the game with a run, hit, or a walk. He struck out six while maxing the radar at 78 mph.

For Chain Red, Cory Bivins (2018, Haddock, GA) was the only player to muster a hit and also scored one run.

The Tri-State Arsenal 2018 Showcase 1 defeated the USA Elite Baseball 2018's National 3-0 in seven innings.

 For the Arsenal, Brandon Neeck (2018, Chappaqua, NY) led the team with a double and a single while driving in two RBIs. Raul Ortega (2018, Nutley, NJ) matched with a single and a double and as well as a run, and Charles Mack (2018, Williamsville, NJ) added with a double of his own.

Jack Carey (2018, Summit, NJ) pitched the complete game with just one hit and no runs. He walked a pair and struck out five on his 87 mph fastball.

For the USA Elite, Cullan Wadsworth (2018, Orefield, PA) was the only player to muster up a hit.


SLAM slams Chain Gold

The SLAM Fall Select 2018 defeated the Chain Gold 12-3 in five innings.



For the Slam, Charlton Commander (2018 Sumter, SC) led the team with a perfect three for three game on three singles and three RBIs. He touched home twice in the game. Riley Watkins (2018, Sterrett, AL) knocked a triple and a single with three RBIs as well as two runs. Wilson Enslen (2018, Vestavia Hills, AL) added a RBI double and two runs, and Josh Elliott (2018, Birmingham, AL) roped a two RBI single.



Brendon Case (2018, Birmingham, AL) pitched most of the game for his team with four innings of work. He allowed three runs off two hits. He walked a pair and struck out four on his 79 mph fastball. 



For the Chain, the only offense was produced by Manuel Monroy (2018, Hapeville, GA) who crushed a two run homer.

Cameron Fitzgerald (2018, Daniel Hand, CT) led the attack with two singles.  Justin Jordan (2018, Darien, CT) had two hits and an RBI while Dillon Lifrieri (2018, Wilton, CT) went 2 for 3.  Michael Burrows (2018, Waterford, CT) started and lasted four innings. He struck out three and gave up two hits. His mid 70's fastball reached 81 mph. Lifrieri threw the rest. In three innings of work, he fanned three and allowed up hits.  He threw fastball between 76-78 mph.

His low 70's fastball touched 75 mph. Cristian Sanchez (2018, Centreville, VA) led the offense by doubling in a run. 

Chase Grubbs (2018, Wakulla, FL) led the offense with two singles.  Dustin Hodges (2018, Bainbridge, GA) started and threw four innings. He struck out three and allowed five hits. His heater was between 75-77 mph and topped out at 83.

Trey Shirah (2018, Strong Rock, GA) led Hardknox Baseball to a 9-0 win over Team Elite Louisville Slugger.  He went 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI.  Kole Vickers (2018, Locust Grove, GA) pitched in with two singles and an RBI while J.K. Lee (2018, Locust Grove, GA) singled in a run. Vickers threw 3 2/3 innings. He struck out two and gave up four hits. His low 70's heater touched 71 mph.

Hogan Scoggins (2018, Buford, GA) threw two innings and struck out two.  Corey Shaw (2018, Parkview, GA) came in next. In two innings, he fanned two but allowed seven hits.  He threw his fastball between 74-77 mph and reached 78. 

Dirtbags fire combined no-hitter in 6-0 win

Jarvis and Wells combined to throw a 7.0-inning no-hitter in the Dirtbags' 6-0 win over the East Cobb Gators Friday afternoon. Jarvis struck out seven in 5.0 innings, displaying outstanding arm speed and an effortless arm action while firing strikes at 75-78 mph. Wells fanned three in his 3.0 innings, showing a balanced delivery and good command while working in the 74-77 mph range with a low-60s curve.

Healey went 1-for-2 with a walk, a stolen base and a run scored.

Team Elite survives back-and-forth game w/8-7 W

Team Elite Louisville Slugger scored five runs in the 4th inning, then held off Panhandle Scorpions 2018's late rally to secure an 8-7 win Friday night. Evan Johnson (2018, Cumming, GA) led the way for Team Elite, going 3-for-4 with a triple and two RBI. He showed a quick, live bat. Teammate Hogan Scoggins (2018, Dacula, GA) went 2-for-3. He also tripled, scored and drove in a run. 

3B/RHP Kennedy Norton (2018, Johns Creek, GA) struck out four in 2.0 innings for Team Elite. He displayed a loose, long arm action, firing strikes at 74-79 mph, peaking at 80 with armside run. Norton also flashed a low-60s curve.

Dustin Hodges (2018, Bainbridge, GA) went 3-for-4 with a run and an RBI for the Scorpions, showing a fluid stroke with power potential. Teammate Joshua Tease (2018, Tallahassee, FL) went 2-for-3 with a stolen base and a game-high three RBI. 

3B/RHP Nick Nolan (2018, Niceville, FL) struck out a pair in 2.1 innings of relief for the Scorpions. Working with a short, loose arm action, he showed an aggressive fastball in the 74-77 mph range. At the plate, Nolan went 0-for-1 with two walks, two runs scored and a stolen base.

RHP Jack Ryan (2018, Briarcliff Manor, NY) pitched a three-hit shutout for Tri-State Arsenal 2018 Showcase-1 in their 7-0 win over Chain Gold Friday night. Ryan struck out nine and walked just one, throwing 60 of 86 pitches for strikes (70 percent). His fastball sat in the 72-77 mph, peaking at 79 with an upper-60s curve.

Raul Ortega (2018, Nutley, NJ) led Tri-State with two hits. He also walked and drove in a run. Teammates Bryce Cunningham (2018, Chalfont, PA) and Brandon Neeck (2018, Chappaqua, NY) each drove in a pair of runs. Cunningham also stole a base; Neeck stole two.

CBA Copperheads Elite pounded-out 12 hits in their 9-3 win over the Central Florida Red Raiders Friday night. Slade Gorman (2018, Smith Station, AL) led the offensive charge, going 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles, a triple, two runs scored and two RBI.

Jonathan Brand (2018, Columbus, GA) went 2-for-4 with a stolen base, an RBI and a run scored. Teammate Kenneth Overby (2019, Valley, AL) also had two hits, adding a stolen base and two driven in. 

3B/RHP Mason Davis (2019, Opelika, AL) and 1B/RHP Slade James (2018, Smiths, AL) combined to throw a two-hitter for CBA. Davis struck out four in 4.0 innings, working in the 69-73 mph range, peaking at 74. He also flashed a low-60s curve. James fanned three in his 3.0 innings, firing strikes at 69-72 mph.

Nick Oday (2018, Bishop Shananan, PA) led the attack with three hits including a double and a triple.  He also drove in two runs. He also threw the first two innings. Beau Walters (2018, Orlando Christian, FL) led the attack with two homers and three RBI's.  Sam Bennett (2018, Cook County, GA) helped out with two singles while Gavin Bloodworth (2018, First Presbyterian Day, GA) singled in two runs. Cameron Gray (2018, Marianna, FL) did his part with a double and triple.  Both Ian Hislop (2018, St Petersburg Catholic, GA) and Hueston Morrill (2018, Suwannee, FL) had two hits in the win.  Bloodworth threw three innings and struck out three. His heater was in the mid 80's and touched 87 mph.

The Tri-State Arsenal 2018 Showcase 1 defeated the SLAM Fall Select 2018 8-0 to improve their record to 2-0 in the tournament.  Charles Mack (2018, Williamsville East HS, NJ) led the way for the Tri-State offense posting a perfect day at the plate using a sound hitting approach and showing good power potential as he went 3-3 with 2 triples, 1 double, 1 run scored and 2 RBI.  Justin Meyer (2018, The Haverford School, PA) also had a strong offensive day using a short, compact swing and an aggressive approach going 3-4 with 2 triples, 3 runs scored and 2 RBI.  Brandon Neeck (2018, Iona Preparatory HS, NY) added in a 2-3 performance showing gap power as he smacked 1 double.  

Anthony DiMartino (2018, Timber Creek HS, NJ) started and earned the win for Tri-State tossing 6 shutout innings allowing just 3 hits and 2 walks, while striking out 9 batters.  DiMartino worked fast and used an online delivery with his 72-75/78 mph fastball and mixed in a 63-69 mph changeup and a 63-66 mph slider.

For the Nelson Baseball School's offense, Jackson Fehl (2018, Lassiter HS, GA) went 1-1 with 1 RBI and Alex Hayes (2018, Woodstock HS, GA) went 1-3 with 1 run scored.  

Zach Camp (2018, Walker HS, GA) started the game for the Nelson Baseball School going 5 innings allowing just 2 runs, 1 earned, on 6 hits and 2 walks, while striking out 3 batters.  Camp showed a short arm action and featured a 65-68/69 mph fastball and mixed in a 57-59 mph curveball and a 63 mph changeup.  

Korbin Kirton (2018, Sandalwood HS, FL) added in a 2-3 day for the Warriors' offense showing a short, compact swing as he picked up 1 RBI and Ethan Camps (2018, Mandarin HS, FL) went 1-2 with 1 RBI.

The Texas Athletics defeated the CBA Copperheads Elite 6-5 thanks to a 2 run rally in the bottom of the 7th to pick up their first win of the tournament.  Boedy Flores (2018, Harlingen HS, TX) led the way for the Athletics' offense going 2-4 with 2 RBI.  Leadoff man, Fernando Benavides (2018, Laredo United HS, TX), also impressed going 2-3 with 2 runs scored, 3 stolen bases and 1 walk.  

Ozbeth Marcelo Perez (2018, John B Alexander HS, TX) earned the win out of relief for the Athletics tossing 3 1/3 innings allowing just 1 unearned run on 2 hits and no walks, while striking out 4 batters.  Perez featured a 78-80/81 mph fastball and mixed in a 69-72 mph curveball.  He also added in a 1-3 day at the plate with 1 triple, 1 run scored and 1 stolen base.  

For the Copperheads, Gage Tillery (2019, Glenwood School Inc, AL) went 1-3 with 2 RBI and Bryce Valero (2019, Northside HS, GA) went 1-1 with 1 run scored, 1 RBI and 1 walk.

The Jacksonville Warriors Easton defeated the Central Florida Red Raiders 9-0 to improve their record to 2-0 in the tournament.  Max Ferguson (2018, The Bolles HS, FL) started and earned the win for the Warriors tossing 7 shutout innings allowing just 2 hits and 2 walks, while striking out 3 batters.  Ferguson featured a 69-73 mph fastball and mixed in a 66 mph curveball.  He also had a strong day at the plate showing good bat speed and a sound hitting approach as he went 3-4 with 1 triple, 1 double, 2 runs scored and 1 RBI.  

For the rest of the Warriors' offense, Austin Knight (2018, The Bolles HS, FL) scored 1 run, collected 2 RBI and had 2 walks on the day.  Nick Riscigno (2018, Bishop Kenny HS, FL) and Keegan Barrs (2018, Oakleaf HS, FL) each added in a 2-3 performance with 1 run scored.  Jared Cox (2018, Atlantic Coast HS, FL) also impressed going 1-3 with 1 double and 1 run scored.

Chattanooga Cyclones scored 14 runs in four innings of play and blew by the East Cobb Gators 14-0.

Alex Kerns (2018, McCallie School, TN) pitched all four innings for Chattanooga and surrendered two hits, no runs, and struck out eight.  He had sound mechanics, threw easy, and hit 76mph on his fastball. 

Dylan Keown (2018, Heritage, GA) went 1-1 with a triple and 3 RBIs for the Cyclones.  Josh Gibson (2018, Heritage, GA) finished the game with 2 RBIs.  Bryce Bird (2018, Heritage, GA) and Andrew Brock (2018, Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe, GA) each had one hit and 2 RBIs.  Bird scored once while Brock crossed home plate twice.

Team Elite Prime blanks Team Rocky

Team Elite Prime scored runs in almost every inning and cruised by Team Rocky Top 7-0 behind strong pitching and hitting.

Ethan Hankins (2018, Forsyth Central, GA) and Grey Akins (2018, Jackson County, GA) combined to pitch the shut-out for Team Elite Prime.  Hankins pitched 3 2/3 innings allowing one hit and striking out five. The right-hander had good command with a smooth, online delivery.  He effectively threw inside and reached 83mph on his fastball.  Akins tossed the other 3 1/3 innings giving two hits while fanning one. He stayed tall on his backside and displayed short arm action.

Tanner Green (2018, North Oconee, GA) and Bradley Prince, Jr. (2018, South Forsyth, GA) each registered two hits in the win.  Both doubled once each and Green drove in 3 runs while Prince, Jr. scored twice.

So Cal NTT scored five of six runs during the 3rd and 4th innings.  Their six total runs proved to be enough as they downed Nelson Baseball School 15U Blue 6-4.

Keagan Calero (2019, Spaulding, NH) hit 2-3 with a double for So Cal NTT.  Calero added 1 RBI and one run scored. Chris Attisani (2018, Buckingham Browne Nichols, MA) registered 2 RBIs in the win.

Chase Wilkerson (2018, Headland, AL) started on the mound for So Cal and finished with 9 K's. Austin Thrasher (2018, Emmanuel Christian, AL) relieved Wilkerson and tossed the final two innings. Thrasher gave up two hits, no runs, and struck out 1.  He also received the save.

Late Scoring Helps Warriors get W

Jacksonville Warriors Easton scored four runs in 6th inning to seize the lead over CBA Copperheads Elite and went on to win 6-4.

Ricky Hartless (2018, Bishop Kenny, FL) and Mac Forrester (2018, The Bolles, FL) helped pave the way on offense for the Warriors.  Hartless tripled once and finished 2-3 with 1 RBI and one run scored. Forrester also finished the game 2-3 with 1 RBI and crossed home plate once as well.  Isaiah Byars (2018, Oakleaf, FL) knocked in two runs.

Colby Brabston (2019, Columbus, GA) went 2-4 with a triple for the Copperheads.  Brabston was responsible for two of the fours runs driven in.  Slade Gorman (2018, Central, AL) registered two hits in the loss. 

Campbell homers in win

Michael Campbell (2018, St Johns College, MD) jacked a three-run homer for Diamond Skills Dodgers in their 9-4 win over Team North Carolina-DeMarini.  Zach Tsakounis (2018, St Johns College, VA) pitched in three hits including a double and an RBI.  Reese Varley (2018, Battlefield, VA) drove in two runs with a single. Stephen Pelli (2018, St Mary's MD) started and lasted four innings. He struck out six and gave up four hits. His low 80's heater touched 85 mph. Zeke Gongola (2018, St Johns College, MD) finished the game. In three innings, he fanned three but walked three. He threw his fastball between 80-83 mph.

Jeb Byerley (2018, Chapel Hill, NC) started for North Carolina but only threw an inning. He struck out three and walked one. His fastball was between 69-71 mph. Ryan Lonegan (2018, Chapel Hill, NC) threw six innings. He walked one but gave up seven hits. Caleb Cozart (2019, High Point, NC) drove in two runs with a single in the loss. 

Mizuno Baseball USA wins pitching duel

Mizuno Baseball USA pulled out a close 1-0 win over CTN Prodigy 2K18 behind a strong pitching effort.

Cass Phillips (2018, Lakeland, MI) tossed a complete game for Mizuno.  Phillips, a right hander, threw 101 pitches in the game.  He surrendered four hits, no runs, and struck out an impressive 12 batters.  He showed sound mechanics with some projectable stuff.  Cass had good command as he was around the plate with all pitches.  His fastball topped out at 77mph.

John Gilbert (2018, Jersey Village, TX) drove in the lone run of the game.

On the other side pitching, Fran Phelan (2018, Holy Cross, CT) pitched a complete game as well for CTN.  Phelan did well in his own right allowing four hits, one run, and fanning 7. He competed on the mound and threw strikes.  His arm worked well and he was aggressive with his fastball that ranged in the low-to-mid 70s. 

Warriors Orange down So Cal NTT

The Jacksonville Warriors Orange put three runs on the board in the bottom of the 1st inning to take an early lead over So Cal NTT.  So Cal got two back in the 3rd, but the Warriors proved to be too much as they tacked on two more in the 5th and went on to win 5-2.

Zack Chappell (2018, Undecided, FL) hit 2-3 with one triple, 2 RBIs, and two runs scored. The shortshop displayed a fluid stroke with a quick, live bat.  Nolan Lepkoske (2018, The Bolles, FL) and Brandon Dumas (2018, Orange Park, FL) each recorded two hits in the win as well.  Lepkoske added 1 RBI and one run scored to his stat sheet.

Austin Thrasher (2018, Emmanuel Christian, Al) went 1-2 in the game for So Cal NTT.  Thrasher drove in one of the two runs.  Brennen Oxford (2018, Oyster River, NH) finished with a double. 

Stars get up early, hang on late

The Dugout Stars scored all eight runs in the first three innings and held on for an 8-5 victory over the Dirtbags.

Nick Oday (2018, Bishop Shananan, PA) and Chad Spieser (2018, Bishop Shananan, PA) led the way on offense for the Stars.  Oday finished the game a perfect 2-2 with a double, 1 RBI, and one run scored.  He also pitched for 1/3 of an inning and received the save.  Spieser also recorded two hits with one being a double.  He drove in two runs and scored one as well.  PJ Heintz (2017, N/A, PA) tripled once and knocked in a run.

Wells (N/A) went 1-3 with 2 RBIs in the loss for the Dirtbags.  Benton (N/A) had 1 RBI and also scored twice.  Healey (N/A) was solid from the plate batting 2-4 with one a double. 

8 run 6th helps STARS to win

The STARS (Marucci) defeated Hardknox Baseball 12-5 in their first game of the tournament thanks to an 8 run 6th inning that broke the tie.  Mitchell Kay (2018, Bishop O'Connell HS, VA) led the STARS' offense going 2-4 with 1 triple, 2 runs scored and 3 RBI.  Matthew Kane (2018, Osbourn Park HS, VA) went 1-3 with 4 RBI and Zachary Feight (2018, Battlefield HS, VA) went 1-2 with 1 triple.  Tyler Casagrande (2018, Paul VI Catholic HS, VA) also impressed showing a fluid stroke and a quick bat as he went 2-3 with 1 triple and 2 run scored.

William Heltibridle (2018, Patriot HS, VA) earned the win out of the bullpen for the STARS throwing 2 innings allowing 1 run on 1 hit and 1 walk.  Heltibridle featured a 71-74 mph fastball and showed good command of his 64-67 mph curveball.  He also had a big day at the plate going 1-2 with 1 triple, 1 run scored, 2 RBI and 1 walk.  

For Hardknox, Hunter Neal (2019, Locust Grove HS, GA) went 1-2 with 1 run scored, 2 RBI and 1 walk, while Jackson Holmes (2018, Pike County HS, GA) went 1-2 with 1 triple, 1 run scored and 1 RBI.  

Smith shines in Swarm win

The Oxford Swarm defeated the Chain Red 6-0 in their first game of the tournament.  Jacob Smith (2018, Calera HS, AL) started and earned the win for the Swarm going 3 shutout innings allowing just 2 hits and no walks, while striking out 5 batters.  Smith threw easy and pitched downhill with his 76-79/81 mph fastball and mixed in a 60-65 mph curveball.  He also showed well offensively going 2-3 with 2 doubles and 3 RBI.  

For the rest of the Swarm offense, Griffin Carroll (2018, Alexandria HS, AL) also impressed with a sound approach and gap power as he went 1-3 with 1 triple, 1 run scored, 1 RBI and 1 walk.  Caleb Hopkins (2018, Gordon Lee HS, GA) added in a 2-4 day with 1 run scored and 1 RBI.  

For the Chain, Josh Cobb (2018, Mary Persons HS, GA) and Cameron Johnson (2018, Putnam County HS, GA) each had 1 base hit. 

Wadsworth key in USA Elite win

USA Elite Baseball 2018's National defeated SLAM Fall Select 2018 6-3 in their first game of the tournament.  Leadoff man, Cullan Wadsworth (2018, Parkland HS, PA), led the way for the USA offense going 2-3 with 1 triple, 2 runs scored, 1 stolen base and 1 walk.  Thomas Schultz (2019, Our Lady of Lourdes HS, PA) also impressed going 3-3 with 1 double, 1 run scored and 1 RBI.  JP Murphy (2018, Calvert Hall College HS, MD) added in a 1-2 performance with 2 RBI and 1 walk.  

Will Manley (2018, Lower Dauphin HS, PA) started and earned the win for USA going 4 innings allowing 3 runs on 1 hit and 2 walks, while striking out 2 batters.  Manley attacked hitters and showed a smooth, online delivery with his 75-78/79 mph fastball that had good life and mixed in a 67-69 mph curveball.  

For the SLAM, Sonny Dichiara (2018, Hoover HS, AL) went 1-3 with a 3-run home run.  

Perkins leads Tri-State Arsenal to W

Tri-State Arsenal 2018 Showcase 2 defeated SBO Puerto Rico 13-3 in their first game of the tournament.  Jake Perkins (2018, Cinnaminson HS, NJ) led the way for the Arsenal offense going 3-3 with 1 triple, 2 runs scored, 2 RBI, 2 stolen bases and 1 walk.  Adam Grintz (2019, Downington West Campus HS, PA) added in a 2-3 performance with 4 runs scored, 1 RBI, 1 stolen base and 1 walk.  Tucker Wittman (2018, New Hope Solebury HS, PA) also showed well going 1-3 with 1 run scored, 3 RBI, 3 stolen bases and 1 walk.  Craig Matta (2018, St Augustine Preparatory HS, NJ) had a strong day at the plate going 1-2 with 1 run scored, 2 RBI, 1 stolen base and 1 walk.  

Matt Orlando (2019, NJ) started and earned the win for the Arsenal going 2 innings allowing 1 unearned run on 1 hit and 1 walk, while striking out 5 batters.  Orlando featured a 74-77/78 mph fastball and mixed in a 66-68 mph curveball.  

For SBO, Angel G. Diaz (2018, Puerto Rico Baseball Academy HS, PR) went 1-3 with 2 RBI.
