Black and Columbia BP Highlights

Gabriel Cancel (2015 SS, Arecibo, PR) has a big hand drop load to start his swing but works through it well to create very good raw bat speed with nice loose extension out front.

Brian Torres (2015 OF, Caguas, PR) has very quick hands at the plate, which enables him to take a calm and under control approach and still generate lots of bat speed and square the ball up consistently.  His best contact was up the RCF gap.

Orley Arellano (2015 OF, Manati, PR) isn't a big right handed hitter at 5-foot-9, 165-pounds but swings hard and has some real power.  He consistently pulled the ball hard and finished his round with a big home run to left field.

Edwin Betancourt (2015 OF, Toa Alta, PR) is another young and slender outfielder who is very projectable.  He squared up just about everything in his round and shot the ball up both gaps.

Kenneth Bautista (2015 OF, Carolina, PR) looks like top 2015 prospects Demi Oromolye or Tyler Willaims at 6-foot-3, 215-pounds and has a similar loose and powerful swing.

Francisco Urbaez (2015 SS, Santo Domingo, DOM) is the only player to come over from the Dominican Republic and showed lots of bat speed and projection.  A bit more lower half in his swing and he'd really be driving the ball.

Christian Sanjurjo (2015 SS, Caguas, PR) has a front side approach with a loose, extended swing coming through the zone.  He showed some nice gap power with more to come with added strength.
