2014 Southeast Top & Underclass

4-Texas Orange vs. 3-Black Highlights
8/23/2014 4:46:57 PM
Noah Nicaud (2015, 2B/3B/ss, St. Stanislaus, MS) displayed big time power with a two RBI HR. Nicaud has a strong frame and projects well with gap to gap power.

Hank Nichols (2015, LHP, J L Mann HS, SC) is a projectable pitcher with a big frame and pitcher's body that struck out seven in his three innings of work. Nichols throws from a 3/4 slot and can create some cut action on his FB. Nichols has a quick arm with his FB at 85 MPH and a 1-7 CB at 71 MPH and a solid straight CH at 76 MPH.

Lucas Boudreau (2015, SS/RHP/3B, Greater Atlanta Christian, GA) showed the ability to spray the ball to the opposite field. Both of Boudreau's singles came to the opposite field and were a result of his line drive swing plane.

Randal Heller (2015, OF/RHP, Lassister HS, GA) drove two singles in the game including a line drive to LF. Heller has quick hands and can get them in and make solid contact with inside pitches.

Joe Reichard (2015, 3B/RHP/IF, St. Pius X, GA) struck out five in two innings on the hill. Reichard did a great job of mixing his pitches and showing off his three-pitch mix. Reichard's FB had some arm-side run and topped at 81 MPH from his 3/4 slot. He can throw his FB to both sides of the plate and has good feel for his CB, which was 61 MPH, and his CH, which was 73 MPH.

Scott Smith (2015, RHP, Sharpsburg, GA) has an XL frame and throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a long arm action. Smith showed a FB ranging from 79-84 MPH with an 11-5 CB at 72 MPH and a CH at 75 MPH.
