The following players stood out during the 10:45 game of the Northeast Top Prospect Showcase between the Columbia Blue and Dark Green Teams.
RJ Hall (2015, 1B/RHP, Hotchkiss, MA) showed good life and run on his fastball which topped at 87, he struck out 8 in 3 innings of work. RJ also had a triple in the game.
Brendan Welch (2015, LHP/1B, Oliver Ames, MA) pitched an inning and struck out 2 batters, his fastball topped at 83 and mixed in a 70 MPH curveball.
Teddy Beaudet (2016, C, New Hampton NH) was 2 for 3 with 2 doubles showing good bat speed and the ability to drive the baseball on a consistent bases.
Chirstopher Hyland, (2015, INF, HOlderness NH), and Andrew Stutts (2015, RHP, East Catholic, CT) each collected a hit for the Columbia Blue Team
Eddie Emerson (2015, LHP, Lewiston, ME) has a smooth delivery with a long loose arm action. His fastball topped at 84, he mixed in a 10/4 curveball and a change up at 75 with good arm side run.
Collin Maynard (2015, RHP, T L Hanna, SC) has good arm side run on his low 80's fastball topping at 84,
Anthony DiMeglio (2015, C/RHP, Darien HS, CT) quick worker with fastball topping at 84 and flashed a solid slider at 76. He was also 2 for 3 at the plate.
Bryce Ramsay (2016, C, Northwestern Regional, CT) had a triple using a nice line drive swing plane, the ball registered 92 off the bat.
Drew Dickerson (2015, 3B/C, St Mary's, ON Canada), had a single and stolen base and projects as a lead-off hitter.
Anthony Vieto (2015, OF, St Frances Preparatory, NY) had a double and run scored using an aggressive approach.
