College baseball coaches have spent the last year, or more in some cases, establishing close relationships with recruits in hopes of landing one of the nation's elite recruiting classes.

The 2012 recruiting classes will first be on display on collegiate diamonds around the country this spring. But for now, it's time for the '13 recruiting classes to get all the publicity as we unveil the PG Top 50 national team recruiting rankings with class breakdowns for each of those programs.

Head of the class: 3B Cavan Biggio

Cavan Biggio, the son of former Houston Astros infielder Craig Biggio, has made quite the name for himself over the last couple of years. Biggio was a Perfect Game All-American and was committed to Virginia for quite some time. However, the elite 6-foot-1, 185-pounder, had a change of heart at the last second during the early period and decided on Notre Dame, where his brother Conor is a sophomore. Cavan is ranked No. 16 nationally and the nation's No. 1 third baseman. Biggio received a PG grade of 10.0 for his performance at PG National last summer. Biggio showed elite offensive skills with quick hips and hands, while also doing a great job of squaring up the ball.
