A quick look at the Tar Heels haul from the 2016 class reveals that they went arm heavy at the top as each of their top six recruits are highly coveted righthanded pitchers. The freshman pitching crop that arrived on campus last fall provided instant depth for Coach Mike Fox and the 2015 class stayed mostly intact. They lost just two players to the MLB draft while landing catcher Wyatt Cross and lefthander Brendon Little, who could provide significant innings immediately.
