51. Luken Baker
, rhp/1b, Oak Ridge HS
R/R, 6-4/250, Spring Texas
College Commitment: Texas Christian

Baker's stock has been rising fast recently and there were reportedly nine scouting directors in to see him in one early May start. The big righthander is 5-0 with 89 strikeouts in 56 innings this spring while hitting .431 with seven home runs at the plate.

52. Mikey White
, ss, Alabama (JR)
R-R, 6-1/200, Hoover, Ala.
Previously Drafted: Mets ’12 (34)

While it sounds almost repetitive in describing players to this point, White is yet another athletic shortstop who came into his own last summer on the Cape, taking his game to the next level. That performance has carried into the spring, especially with the bat as White shows interesting power in his righthanded stroke while getting on-base at a rather frequent rate.

53. Chris Shaw
, of, Boston College (JR)
L-R, 6-3/250, Lexington, Mass.
Previously Drafted: Mets ’12 (26)

In a draft class that lacks a depth of power bats, Boston College’s Chris Shaw is at the top of most lists for his advanced lefthanded power. Prior to breaking his hamate in the beginning of April, Shaw was on absolute fire, showing off both his high level hit tool and power, hitting to all fields with comfort and intent. He was on his way to a monster spring and has the track record and history to justify a lofty draft position.

54. Brady Singer
, rhp, Eustis HS
R/R, 6-5/190, Leesburg, Fla.
College Commitment: Florida

Singer has been perhaps the fastest riser among Florida high school pitchers this spring, with a fastball up to 96 mph and plenty of physical projection left. He gets bonus points from most scouts as his father, Brett, runs a Harley-Davidson dealership.

here.

55. Tristan Beck
, rhp, Corona HS
R/R, 6-4/175, Corona, Calif.
College Commitment: Stanford

Beck is a late developer, as he was just throwing 86-88 while touching 90 mph late last summer. But he gave up playing football, where he excelled despite his then slender 6-foot-4, 160-pound build, to get stronger and the results have been dramatic. He's been more 91-93 mph touching 95 this spring with one of the best curveballs in the class.
