Super25 Action Across the Nation

Drake Browne
Approximately 200 teams will be competing in PG Super25 tournaments this weekend, as the 2015 season has officially heated up in many different regions of the country.  This weekend will also feature the New Era Wood Bat Mother's Day Classic in Okotoks, Alberta, the first PG Super25 tournament in Canada.  Here is a quick preview of this weekend's events:

9u-14u Ohio Valley Mother's Day Championships (Elizabethtown, KY)

The beautiful Elizabethtown Sports Park will be at full capacity this weekend, with a total of 70 teams across all ages of the Mother's Day Championships.  This event will feature many of the top teams in the Ohio Valley Region, including Kentucky Baseball Club, Northern Indiana Elite, Indiana Baseball Club, Cincy Flames, Easton Elite, and the Indiana Outlaws.  It will be a very competitive tournament and we are looking forward to some great baseball.

New Era Wood Bat Mother's Day Classic (Okotoks, AB)

The top talent in Canada will be featured this weekend at Seaman Stadium in Okotoks, AB.  This is the first PG Super25 tournament to be held in Canada, and we are very excited to have the opportunity to see these players compete against the best in their Region.

11u and 12u New England Regionals (Northborough, MA)

Now that the weather has warmed up in the Northeast part of the country, our New England Regionals are ready to start at the brand new New England Baseball Complex in Northborough, MA.  This beautiful facility will play host to all of the New England Regionals, with the 11 and 12 year olds getting the first chance to compete for a berth to the Super25.  Top programs in the area will take the field this weekend, including the CT Bombers, Legends Prospects, New England Storm, Vipers Baseball, Connecticut Capitals, Newport Jr. Gulls, and Syracuse Sports Zone just to name a few.

12u Florida State Regional (Naples, FL)

The first 2015 event in Florida will be held this weekend, with many top 12u teams competing for berths to the National Championship in Atlanta, GA.  SWFL Starz, Proscouting Elite, PBA Under Armour, and the Brevard Aces are a few of the talented clubs in the hunt to prove themselves as the best 12u team in Florida.

10u and 11u Staten Island Mother's Day Classic (Staten Island, NY)

Our PG Super25 Mid-Atlantic Region continues this weekend, and many eyes will be on the Staten Island Mother's Day Classic.  While there are a number of talented teams in the mix, we are excited to see a number of Tri-State Arsenal teams in each age division.  Last year's Runner-Up for Organization of the Year, the Arsenal have reloaded with talent and are set to make another run at the National Championships in many age divisions.

12u, 13u, and 14u Tag 'em Super Series (Pt. Pleasant, NJ)

These tournaments are also a part of the 2015 Mid-Atlantic schedule, which has been going strong for the past three weeks.  Many teams have the chance to prove they belong among the best in the Northeast, with representation from Maryland, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.

9u South Texas Regional (Tomball, TX)

Regional play continues this weekend at Premier Baseball of Texas in Tomball, as the 9u teams will compete to represent South Texas in the PG Super25 National Championships.  So far, the Banditos Baseball Club has been dominant, winning Regionals at the 14u, 12u, and 10u age divisions.  While their 9u teams is a talented group, they will be competing against other tough teams such as the Bellaire Bulls, Full Potential Sports, Mizuno Phenoms, and Team Rawlings Citius.

13u South Super Qualifier (Brenham, TX)

Another berth to the PG Super25 will be earned this weekend in Texas at the 13u South Super Qualifier.  Linda Anderson Park will play host to this competitive tournament, where top clubs including Houston Athletics, Dynasty Baseball, Batter's Box, South Texas Heat, and the Texas Stix will battle to prove they belong in the Super25.

Make sure to follow all the action on PGSuper25.com, and request an invite for future events if your team isn't already registered!
