Bad weather continued to be a dominant theme on the 2015 college baseball season as rain postponed and cancelled games in several notable series across the country. The biggest effect of the rain appeared to occur in College Station, Texas, as No. 2 Texas A&M held a 8-3 lead in the top of the seventh on Saturday before the game was suspended and carried over to Sunday afternoon. Arkansas rallied for a five-run eighth to pull ahead and win the game, 9-8, and eventually the series with a second win on Sunday.

While it was the first series loss for Texas A&M this season, they do not drop in the Top 25 rankings. Overall there isn't too much movement as almost every single ranked team won their weekend series. Vanderbilt dropped their second consecutive weekend and SEC series to South Carolina, while Virginia moved back up a couple of spots after winning their ACC tilt against Miami.

Other than UCF, who fell out of the rankings after going 1-3 this past week, only one other team ranked in the lower half lost their weekend series: Nebraska. The Huskers did win their two midweek games to go 3-2 on the week and save themselves from getting pushed out of the Top 25 completely. Their series loss came at the hands of Ohio State, who had a big week by also taking their game on Tuesday against No. 3 Louisville while moving to 26-10 on the year.

The Buckeyes are now knocking at the door for Top 25 inclusion.

Nevada forced themselves into the Top 25 with a huge 4-0 week that included a series sweep over Mountain West Conference foe San Diego State, who held a narrow lead over Nevada in the conference standings heading into the weekend. As noted in the Weekend Preview big fireworks were expected, however, it was not expected to be so one-sided as the Wolf Pack out-scored the Aztecs 38-12. Senior first baseman Austin Byler provided the big blow and overall exclamation point on Sunday, going 3-for-5 with three runs scored and a grand slam, his 10th home run of the season, in Nevada's 16-4 sweep-clinching win.
