Mid-Atlantic Preview

Drake Browne

Super25 Season is Underway

The 2015 PG Super25 slate in the Mid-Atlantic Region is officially underway, and events have already been held in Staten Island, NY, Toms River, NJ, and Dover, DE.  Throughout the rest of the spring and summer, a total of 85 tournaments are scheduled in various locations throughout the Mid-Atlantic.  The registration numbers have confirmed that all 9u-17u teams enjoy the Super25 events.  While registration is still open for most of the tournaments, the Mid-Atlantic Region has already received 944 team invite requests for the 2015 season.

Can the Arsenal Repeat?

The Tri-State Arsenal out of Voorhees, NJ was the only organization to win multiple National Championships in 2014.  The club accomplished this by winning the 14u and 15u crowns in back-to-back title games at Jet Blue Park in Fort Myers, FL.  The Arsenal was also very impressive in the 13u National Championship, where they advanced to the semifinals before losing a tough game to the Dallas Tigers.  In 2015, all eyes are on the Arsenal as they look to defend their titles and build off an incredible Inaugural Season.  While the pressure is on, this talented club has proven time and time again that they are up for the challenge.

2014 Success Stories

In 2014, a total of 13 teams from the Mid-Atlantic Region earned a berth to compete in the Super25 National Championships.  The 14u Super25 saw an "All Mid-Atlantic" title game between ASBA West Chester and the Tri-State Arsenal.  Out of all nine age divisions, this was the only matchup between two teams from the same region.  The 17u 9ers Prime also advanced to the championship game of their Super25, and Molina Baseball made a great run through the playoffs of the 11u National Championships.
