2015 Super25 Schedule Announced

PG Super25 Staff
EMERSON, Ga. - PG Super25 National Headquarters have released the National Championship dates and locations for the second year of the new tournament series.  These prestigious events will be held at some of the top facilities in the nation, including Perfect Game's own PG Park South at LakePoint:
  • 9u PG Super25 National Championship - July 7-12, East Cobb Baseball Complex (Marietta, GA)
  • 10u PG Super25 National Championship - July 10-15, East Cobb Baseball Complex (Marietta, GA)
  • 11u and 12u PG Super25 National Championships - July 16-21, East Cobb Baseball Complex (Marietta, GA)
  • 13u PG Super25 National Championship - June 19-25, Jet Blue Park (Fort Myers, FL)
  • 14u PG Super25 National Championship - July 1-7, Jet Blue Park (Fort Myers, FL)
  • 15u PG Super25 National Championship - July 30-04, PG Park South at LakePoint (Emerson, GA)
  • 16u PG Super25 National Championship - July 29-03, PG Park South at LakePoint (Emerson, GA)
  • 17u PG Super25 National Championship - July 10-16, Jet Blue Park (Fort Myers, FL)
All teams must qualify to play in the National Championships by winning either a Regional or a Super Qualifier tournament.  A number of these tournaments have already been posted on the PG Super25 website, with the rest being released over the next month.  However, in an attempt to help teams plan ahead and limit travel costs, all National Championships have been paired with an existing Perfect Game tournament, such as the BCS Finals or the EvoShield Classic.

Teams are now able to register for the BCS Finals/EvoShield Classic before knowing the results of the Super25 Regionals.  This way, they will not have to wait until after the Regionals to book hotels, flights, or other travel accommodations.  If a team qualifies for the Super25, they will be transferred to that event and they will not have to change any of their previous plans.  If a team does not qualify, they will still be able to play in a quality tournament with the same dates/location.

"We really think this will help teams plan ahead and avoid the last-minute nature of a qualifying system," said Drake Browne, PG Super25 National Director.  "When you are playing for a spot in the Super25, there is already a lot of pressure to prove yourselves as the best in the Region.  The least we could do was to take a little pressure off the coaches and parents when planning out their summer schedules."

The Super25 has hosted over 3,000 total teams since launching in September of 2013.  This past July, true National Champions were crowned in all age groups 9u-17u in the Inaugural PG Super25's:
  • 9u National Champions - Midland Blackhawks (Cincinnati, OH)
  • 10u National Champions - Banditos (Tomball,TX)
  • 11u National Champions - Arkansas Express (Monticello, AR)
  • 12u National Champions - East Coast Bombers (Charleston, SC)
  • 13u National Champions - PSA Sox Red (Ridgeland, MS)
  • 14u National Champions - Tri-State Arsenal (Voorhees, NJ)
