Watson has a big and strong athletic build with room to get stronger. He has tremendous raw bat speed from the left side of the plate with quick hands getting to the ball and big lift in his swing. Most of Watson's contact is pull oriented, but he can also drive the ball to the opposite field. Defensively, Watson has plenty of experience at both third base and first base, with solid footwork at both positions and enough agility and arm strength to stay at third base with hard work.
