Anthony Farmakides is a 2020 OF/IF with a 5-8 170 lb. frame from Falls Church, VA who attends Mclean High School. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength to frame throughout, additional room to grow. Ran a 5.24 40-yard dash. Primary outfielder, takes short and quick steps moving towards the ball, footwork stays active through release, fields the ball out front, compact arm action through the back with a tight release, effort at release. Righthanded handed hitter, begins with a slightly open stance and a lower hand set away from body with a low back elbow. Utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing, short and compact swing, stays inside the baseball. Strides on line with lower half into contact and remains balanced, works the middle and pull side parts of the field while showing a handle for the barrel. Very good student.
