Trevor Smith is a 2016 SS/2B/RHP with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Oneonta, AL who attends Oneonta HS. Strong very athletic build, looks the part of the top prospect. Right handed hitter, open stance, has loose and fast hands, relaxed stance and approach at the plate, simple swing mechanics with a good shift and load, short and direct swing with very good bat speed, can back spin the ball and create carry, has some of the best hitting mechanics you will see on a high school player. 6.92 runner, has agility and lots of energy in the infield, good footwork and balance at the ball, can throw from different arm slots with good arm strength, type of athlete who can play all over the field. Very high energy player, runs the bases hard and is involved in more than his share of plays on defense, really knows how to play the game. Good student.
