Andrew Troya is a 2017 1B/LHP with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from North Bergen, NJ who attends Hudson Catholic Regl. Medium build with room to fill out and add strength. Hits from a slightly open stance and a high hand set. Pull approach with a short swing plane to the ball. Does good job staying on baseball and getting barrel to ball and through zone. Fairly easy swing and repeatable. Has good balance through out swing. Defensively, sure handed first baseman with good hands and transfer. Ball shows carry and good accuracy. Also pitched, over the top arm slot with good balance, shows extension to plate. Mixed in 11/5 curveball with big break. Good Student.
