Raymond Hernandez is a 2016 OF with a 5-10 166 lb. frame from Barceloneta, PR who attends Fernando R. Ledesma Continuation. Compact athletic build, good present strength. Very good runner, 6.55 in the sixty, shows very good raw arm strength in the outfield with young fundamentals and footwork, high effort player who can use his tools better defensively with footwork instead of energy. Right handed hitter, hand driven rotational swing, has strength in his swing and can impact the ball hard, tends to open front side early and look to pull, sees the ball well and will work counts, has the hitting tools to continue to improve. Very good athlete with the tools to really improve as he learns how to play the game. Very good student.
