Tom Tabak is a 2016 OF/1B with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Calabasas, CA who attends Agoura HS. Strong well proportioned athletic build. Left handed hitter, spread bent knee stance, has present bat speed and can make the ball jump when squared, line drive swing plane and can drive the ball to all fields, tends to hit on his heals and show bad balance during his swing, can take a big step forward by just getting on the balls of his feet, has hitting tools to develop . 7.30 runner, showed good arm and athletic actions in the outfield, can also play first base. Also pitched, upper body rotational mechanics, mid-70's fastball, also threw a knuckleball as a change up. Has strength and athleticism and tools with the bat to develop.
