Blake Frost is a 2016 RHP/3B with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Louisville, KY who attends Ballard. Tall, strongly built athlete with long limbs and more room to add strength. Pitches from a high three-quarter arm slot and has an easy, long arm action that accelerates quickly. Pitches at 83-87 mph with his fastball and has a lot of confidence in his big, late fading 72 mph changeup. Has ability to miss bats and change speeds. Also flashes a big 11-5 curveball, needs tightening. High upside pitcher with feel for three quality pitches. Excellent changeup. Also swung the bat, flashes good bat speed and uses the opposite field. Strong arm across the infield and hands work well. Future is on the mound. Intriguing talent. Named to Top Prospect list.
