Nicholas Israel is a 2017 SS/2B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Henderson, NV who attends Bishop Gorman HS. Tightly wound athletic build with very good present strength, build and hair strongly resemble a smaller Clint Frazier (Indians). Switch hitter, very good bat speed right handed, ball jumps hard with hard pull line drive contact, high level hitting tools right handed. Has less bat speed left handed but is still competitive and makes solid contact, more of an inside oriented swing path, contact over power approach. 6.70 runner, has good footwork at shortstop and plays under control, stays low and moves well laterally, accurate throws with just enough arm strength, has a quick release that helps, shows his athleticism on defense. Nice all around athlete who knows how to play the game. Good student.
