Zach Koch is a 2017 C/3B, RHP with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Plant. Athletic build with room to fill out. Right hand hitter who starts with a wide base and a high hand set. Fluid repeatable swing with good feel for barrel. Has quiet hands and a direct path to the ball. Gets extended through ball and makes consistent contact. Defensively, low set up to start and stays low through throws. Has good weight transfer through throws. Has good arm strength and accurate throws. Also pitched. High Leg lift to balance point, short arm circle, fastball sat in 83-84 range and lived down in zone. Mixed in 11/5 change up and a change up that dives down at the plate. Outstanding Student.
