Nate Wotzka is a 2018 OF/RHP with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Port Orchard, WA who attends South Kitsap HS. Medium frame with an athletic build. Frame projects for additional strength. Primary outfielder with smooth, clean footwork while closing to the baseball. Funnels off to side and worked through transition with clean glove to hand exchanges. Loose arm circle at separation and released from a high three-quarters slot. Throws produced uphill carry to the bag topping at 78 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an open stance. Hands work to contact on a direct, compact path to baseball. Showed good strength at contact with the present barrel feel to work to all fields. Flashed solid jump off the barrel with carry to each gap when on time and squared. Good student as well.
