Mitchell Morris is a 2015 OF/LHP with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Wichita Falls, TX who attends Rider. Morris has a long lean build. Hits from a square stance with a medium base. Quick hands to the ball, shows good bat speed. Aggressive approach, the ball jumps off barrel and showed solid power to the pull side. Has strength in swing. Defensively, solid actions to ball, short quick arm action, ball comes out clean and online. Solid carry. Also pitched. Medium arm action to a high 3/4 am slot. Arm works well and attacks with mid 80's fastball. Also mixed in 1/7 curveball with good spin and bite. Named to the Top Prospect List.
