Paul Bourgeois is a 2015 2B/IF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Mesa, AZ who attends Skyline HS. Medium, athletic frame with a lean, projectable build with room to fill out with additional strength. Ran a 7.29 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, hands work fielding the ball, lower arm slot on throws across, quick release with a compact arm action, accurate throws and will continue to develop arm strength on throws across. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wide base and a slight bend in knees with hands close to body. Upper body swing, shows a pull side approach with a line drive swing plane. Consistently get the barrel to the ball, keeps hands in and gets the barrel through the zone, looks to lift and projects well with incorporation of lower half. Excellent student.
