Kristofer Armstrong is a 2018 MIF/RHP/C with a 6-4 205 lb. frame from Jupiter, FL who attends The Benjamin School. Big and strong athletic build. Switch-hitter, much more advanced at present right handed, creates right handed bat speed with good lower half torque, big hand hitch load but works through it well and finds the barrel, left handed swing is more upper body rotational with a bigger hand hitch. Clean footwork on defense, third base build and actions, good hands at the ball and gets carry on his throws. Pitched both right handed and left handed in the games. Full hands over head delivery right handed, gets good extension over a big stride in front, fastball 89-91 with good command to both sides of the plate, gets tight spin on his slider. Was 80-84 mph left handed with a low 70's curveball. Versatile athlete, profiles best as a right handed pitcher at present. Good student, verbal commitment to Florida.
