Hunter McClellan is a 2015 RHP/MIF, OF with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Nacogdoches, TX who attends Nacogdoches. McClellan has a long lean projectable build. Medium arm action to a 3/4 slot. Very quick arm with good down plane angle and run on fastball. Mixed in 12/6 curveball with good depth and developed more feel during the outing. Has good tempo on the mound and knows how to pitch. Mixed in straight change up as well. Very interesting arm to follow. Hit from a square stance, aggressive approach with a line drive swing plane. Keeps hands inside ball and uses whole field. Defensively, arm works well, ball carries out of hand and has plus arm strength. Athletic actions working through the ball. Good runner with 6.99 sixty. Outstanding Student.
