Matt Kennedy is a 2015 3B/SS/RHP with a 5-8 165 lb. frame from Missouri City, TX who attends Ridgepoint HS. Slender athletic build, has some present strength. Right handed hitter, short loose swing, has a good swing approach, stays on plane for a long time and makes consistent hard line drive contact, ball comes off the barrel well, works the middle of the field, stays back well on off speed pitches, has an idea how to hit. 7.39 runner, second base tools and profile, gets rid of the ball quickly. Also pitched, compact arm action, simple repeatable delivery, will fall off on release at times, mid-70's fastball with a sweeping curveball.
